Toughest and easiest boss fights

What were some of the toughest boss fights you ever fought and what were the boss fights that were so easy they deserve the wienie of the year award?

 

Well, wasnt as much tough as annoying, but the Dark Knight in Record of Agarest War generation 1. He had an attack that would basically take out all your heros in one hit, or leave them with almost no hp. Took a couple tries, but I got him!

 

This should be fun. Here are some bosses that gave me tons of grief, in no particular order.
Belzaboul (Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor)

This guy has a crap ton of HP. He can attack you from anywhere on the map, if you somehow manage to make it to him before he kills you, he's strong against EVERYTHING (save for almighty), which means you have no choice but to attack his strong points which can give him extra turns. On top of that he's constantly laying eggs in your team members which deals a ton of damage to them and spawns his minions next to them, and guess what? They can lay eggs too!
Asura (Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey)

I really HATE this boss, the only reason it is difficult is because it's cheap. The one reason I have him on here is because he knows an attack that can charm you, and this isn't any regular charm, it's a special condition that has the same effect as charm but it's its own condition, meaning it can't be cured with a dis-charm. Anyway this is just a cheap boss, the only real strategy is to keep attacking an hope he dies before you do. If you or most of your demons get charmed, just reset the game.

 

easiest boss is easy. Lucien Fairfax from fable 2. go through the entire game and he kills your dog, so your expecting this huge awesome battle, right? Well all you do is freaking shoot him and he falls into an abyss of death and you win! really?!

 

Lavos: final form (Chrono Trigger)

Before you fight this thing, you have to fight a SLIGHTLY easier form of his. After you beat him, you aren't given the chance to heal. This guy has attacks that can deal over 1000 damage to you, instantly killing you no matter how much HP you have. (The max is 999.) What's worse is that later in the fight he summons 2 minions that can regenerate after you kill them. If you don't have any magic/physical barriers or megaelixirs, consider your playthrough over.

The hardest boss fight for me would have to be Metal Gear Ray battle in Metal Gear Solid 2 on the extreme difficulty and for the easiest boss battle would have to be Borderlands 2 Professor Nakayama.

 

Definitely +1 for Lavos.
Also Golbez from Final Fantasy IV DS, I still haven't beat him.
Also prototype of the ulimate lifeform on Sonic Adventure 2, it is so easy to accidentally kill yourself.

I see a Lavos mention. Man I had people tell me he was easy but that guy gave me fits when I first played against him. Bosses in Xenogears can be pretty hard if you forget to upgrade your equipment. Leveling up was not important at all really it was all about your equipment. Since I always forget to upgrade equipment at the time (not anymore this game taught me that lesson) the game screws you over by giving you the option to save *after* the point of no return. Another lesson for the day. Keep two saves.

 

Well, to be honest, I still can't even beat Dracula in Castlevania for the NES. He's one of the hardest bosses if you don't have holy water (fire bombs).

 

Hardest for me was Alexei from Tales of Vesperia. I haven't been able to get his HP to half yet... As for the easiest it would have to be Jirall from The Last Story. I was really disappointed with the fight

 

I got stuck on some white dragon looking boss in The Last Story. It's probably just bad luck but was really unexpected in a pretty easy game.

Probably Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts. Oh, and a couple of the Weapons from FF7. I can't be arsed to get Knights of the Round to beat them. It will take too long and I don't have the time to get it anymore.
