ahh, i love miku!! she is my second favorite vocaloid IA is first

i never seem to tire of "world is mine" and "rolling girl" is such an amazing song that touched my heart deeply. if miku was real, i would send her lots of fan mail.

but im kinda wondering, if she wasnt the first vocaloid, why does she have 01 on her shoulder?

 

i belive its becasue she is the first "Character vocaloid" or CV01 for short, with CV02 being rin/len and luka being CV03

CV01 is a just a model name for Hatsune Miku. CV means Character Vocal. 01 is a number that represented that she was the first in Crypton's Character Vocal Series (not to be confused with the first Vocaloid or the first Vocaloid 2). When combined, it makes Character Vocal 01 also known as CV01!

Others in Crypton's Character Vocal Series that have been released have numbers on them also, but they go up one from order of release.

Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len are CV02 because they were released after Miku together as a package.

Megurine Luka is CV03 because she was released after Miku and the Kagamines.

Crypton Future Media are working on a male CV04 currently.

MEIKO and KAITO do not have a CV number despite being released before Miku due to the fact that Crypton wanted to start something fresh for Vocaloid 2. MEIKO and KAITO are also apart of their own series as proffessional vocals for proffessional composers. Most people tend to put the numbers "00" as their number as a fan made speculation, but they also like to use CRV1 and CRV2 for them due to the code being on the side of their package boxes. The CRV1 and CRV2 most likely stand for Crypton Vocal 1 and Crypton Vocal 2 due to MEIKO and KAITO being the first two vocals Crypton Future Media released for the original Vocaloid software.

 

Megurine Luka (巡音ルカ / Megurine Ruka) was the third Japanese Vocaloid2 from Crypton and released on January 30, 2009.
According to KEI, who was asked to illustrate her by Crypton, due to her bilingual software, her design was made to be asymmetrical, so from different angles she would look different.
Her design incorporates woodwind and brass instruments. The gold curl design on her chest mimics brass instruments and a circulatory organ. The blue jewel near her throat represents moisture in the air and water drops.

Luka is my #2 (closely followed by GUMI) fav vocaloid

in regards to SF-A2 miki, She sounds cute, but Miku and IA are by far still my favorites.

as far as voice QUALITY i would put Gumi and IA above Miku, but thats mostly due to her age. but yea, i dont really like this girl, shes had a few good songs, but i cant attach to any of them
