Shiki is the only awesome vampire anime I seen.

@Eclipse It wasn't the whole show, (Rahxephon has the same theme and I loved it) It was the abomination of Shinji. The mumbo jumbo stuff it kept randomly throwing at me was interesting even if it didn't make sense half the time. I like the music, I like that fiery red haired girl with the can do attitude, I like that the guardian of Shinji reminds me of an older women I know, I like the mecha fights. I even go so far to admit I looked forward to seeing Genji Ikari be a complete douchbag.

It comes down to the worst main character I have ever seen. Realistic person? It was a deliberate exaggeration of what a normal person would do in order to illicit a feeling of familiarity with his character. It was just too hard to watch this guy go through messed up situations that the plot conveniently put him through in order to make him seem realistic. I don't want to be in his shoes but dammit I'm not going to be a complete wuss at it either!

Anyway sorry for the rant. I see the anime mentioned and I have to share my piece of the puzzle of Eva. I won't say another word about this anime (for a while anyway). I definitly don't begrudge people who did enjoy Eva (or any other anime I happen to dislike). I would recommend Rahxephon if you want something smiler. Just don't make the mistake of comparing the two anime. That never gets people anywhere and I noticed reviews of Rahxephon always accuse it of being a "copy". That's the wrong way to view anime imo.

So I watched the first episode of Code Geass the other day. I still can't get over the Magical Girl aspect of it!!

Just finished The Devil is a Part-timer! I got my hopes up for nothing. Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery average anime.

 

So... I kinda went off the grid for a couple of days there... I was at Will's new place for a gathering with him, Katie, Tom, and Kenneth. We played boardgames (Pokémon Monopoly is effing amazing!!), watched that Planet of the Apes movie that was in cinemas the other year, and also watched the other one in cinema (both were damn good, and I couldn't help but point out the scientific inaccuracies... hehe). We also watched a bunch of anime, such as the entirety of Baka & Test S1. I really loved it; brilliant characters (Hideyoshi for the f***in' win!), brilliant humour, adored the music, and it had a really neat premise with the school battle thingy. I think I'mma give it 4.5/5~ ^_^ (Not perfect 'cause I could tell the ending would probably annoy me if I were to watch it a second time)

And... I'm assuming by the "Oh and, don't think I've forgotten", you're referring to Clannad AS? Yeah, it's on my list. First I must conquer SAO, and SK has just told me today that he's finished Monogatari SS today, so I'll need to finish that ASAP to discuss.
