What VN are you currently reading/just finished?

Thought this topic was appropriate for the club and didn't see it made anywhere else.

As of right now, i'm playing Kara no Shoujo and it's mind-pukingly awesome [if such a phrase exists]. I dare someone to come up to me irl and tell me that something is disturbing, I fracking dare them too. So far, the VN has done an amazing job with atmosphere and aura, which are vital for any horror/mystery games. It also picks at you mentally... it really does. That just might be my inexperienced brain not being exposed to this genre often, but I get really sad/pissed when one of the characters dies, whether I liked them or not. I may just write my first VN review when this is all said and done.

While I don't necessarily like Kyou, I will admit that her arc is probably the best out of all the non-nagisa characters xD

Finished Kara no Shoujo. I kept on playing, praying to god my second favorite character makes it. I re-played countless scenes, but nothing worked...she was dead, and now i'm crying on the inside, quite a lot... I'm also not happy with the "true ending" the VN has set. Personally, I would much prefer this particular character to stay alive...

In terms of the quality of the VN, it's a 9/10. I'm appalled by the fact that this VN that focuses so much on story and characters received only a 2 episode hentai ova where the story and characters aren't even important to the run of the mill viewer. This VN deserves at least 24 episodes IMO. In terms of personal enjoyment, 10/10 most definitely. I'm being kinda vague and cookie cutter here, but it's painful to go back. Looks like the little boy inside of me hasn't exactly left just yet.

 

ok, so, for like the first 5 days of tomoyo after, its a slow progression into some super kinky sex, like, 69 tounge in the bum kinky. i was disgusted to see my favorite girl degraded into some horndog, but, i pushed though (the after-sex/kiss/whatever was friggin hilarious)

SOOOOO NOW i think the main story is starting, now that we got THAT mess out of the way (at least i hope)

Kara no Shoujo



Didn't think that was a horror game. Must play.

As for Clannad I didn't get that far in it before I gave up. I liked it quite a bit it was just way to long for me to 100%.
As for me I've been reading the Sono Hanabira games as a gag game and guess what? They really really suck. I don't know what I was expecting. The other one I just started up was Grisaia and so far I'm really liking it (I don't like that it's 7GBs but that just me)

 

Right now i'm playing Monster Girl Quest from the beginning since part 3 has been out and i didn't notice and I have Lightning Warrior Raidy on the back burner for now

Just finished A Profile. It was an enjoyable VN, with 3 different character routes. Akabei Soft2 is definitely one of my favorite VN developers.

Started Deardrops. It is entertaining so far, though I am not but a couple hours in. I'm glad Overdrive/MangaGamer decided against the whole "text over the entire CG" theme, like they had in Kira Kira. This is also one of the less common VNs, being that the protagonist has an actual face.
