What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Was in JB Hi Fi today, and saw they had the Clannad AS box set there, and it was actually at a reasonable price unlike they usually do. What got my attention though, is the rating had “themes of drug use”. This, is going to be fun.


There is no drugs in Clannad, except for one character.
But our rating system for Anime is a bit messed up, Nichijou is rated M and Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan is rated R for "High impact sexual violence."
When it basically has the same nudity levels as a regular OVA,

 

Watched the first part of "From the new world"... one of the weirdest sheeeeett I've ever seen. It even has some Yaoi action

 

Finished R+V capu 2 again ah i've missed this series

Episode 1 Ah the slightly yuri moment of the freshmen all over the girls, also yeah mizore is getting more time to shine.
Episode 2 Well they got the arangement of this sisters wrong but if i start crtizing it or not following the manga i need to go back to season one and yhen act like season 2 doesn't exist so i won't do that
Episode 3 The singing episode/parents episode. I've always loved mizore's singing and kurumu's has now grown on me since i just realize her VA also did Saten from Railgun and Yuno for future dairy
Episode 4 Forgot about the date rape nurse........
Episode 5 Now mizore gets to be the lead for an episode yes! also this shows off her cooking skills
Episode 6 the hotel episode nothing really memorable here
Episode 7 Ah the bathroom episode, so many funny moments also mizores debut of saying she wants to make a baby with tsukunne
Episode 8 I would say this is more like an OVa episode but it was nice, it also finally says why ruby is there in the first place
Episode 9 Ski resort and more mizore yep good episode
Episode 10 oh Kou you got greedy and that was your downfall
Episode 11 This episode i have no words just go watch it now
Episode 12 Inner Moka's time to shine, i really think if given time she could be a real contender (like in the manga)
Episode 13 ah the usual harem ending, now i want MOAR as usual

 

I haven't watch anything in two weeks.

Yeah, it's basically an OVA series that's got boobs and gore, and comedy, I found it funny.

 

finished koroko. was not bad. the super human skills though. it really disturbing.

started nyarko san its meh. too much of that stuff. stopped at ep 8.

 

oh yeah right! xD i just typed as how it was said. interesting yeah but the only superhuman power that i dont like is midorima's. performing a shot from the other side of the court is just....

oh so i just made it just in time for its s2. will tell lil bro to go get it next. xD

 

I marathoned Seitokai Yakuindomo * today, it wasn’t bad just no where near as good as the first season, either that or the fansubbers I watched it from were worse. I think I would have liked it more had I of found a stream with the more direct and dirty subs instead of these ones. I wasn’t impressed with the higher level of ecchi content though as I thought the brilliance of this series was the jokes not a bouncing chest etc. Also other characters I don’t particularly like got more screen time than before so that was annoying. In the end I rated it a 7, kind of a let down for my high expectations but not the worst thing I’ve watched in the last week.
More Suzu and Tsuda retorts are always welcome though.

the generation of miracles are all arrogant except for copycat. about him, now that explains why he can double the power of kagami's shots. he goes 1 on 1 with a monster for many times. Aomine, Kagami, and Kise are the only skills that i recognize aside from Kuroko.

well a third season is not really that common to occur on many anime we have watched recently. im not hanging in hoping for one. my hear is not ready for disappointments. hehe

It's basically a girl version of Kuroko no Basket.
It's got loads of girls.
It's based on a sport (Mahjong)
It's got girls having superpowers
And everyone is ambiguously gay for each other.

Except in Saki, it's got the most AMAZING Seiyuu case I've seen in a while.
I mean, both of our favourite Seiyuus are in it.
Except one plays best girl and the other plays a shit character.
Take your pick as to who plays who.

 

lol ah ok.. an anime titled Saki. well i dont really hate magic. the thing that i dont like is that putting overpowered skills. prince of tennis case was an alright since i dont really particularly care about tennis so putting overpowered skills in that series made it fun for the sole reason just to make it interesting. kuroko however is a sport that im familiar with and it really gives the eerie feeling when its added with overpowered skills. i dont have interest in mahjong so its pretty much be same with prince of tennis.

That's why people watch it.

Also, while I'm here... I'm gonna be going to Supanova on Sunday, and the voices of Ash and Brock are gonna be there. Do you guys think an Ash cap signed by both of them would be worth more or less than one signed by just Ash? (Even though I have less than no intention of selling it)

Then why ask Anyway I would think one singed by both of them would be worth more.Oh and uh... right now I'm gonna either work on watching Corpse Party or Hellsing Ultimate. Been in a horror anime kind of mood lately.

It took them around a year to start season 2 after season 1 ended. It's a pretty popular show in Japan, so i am sure it will be sooner than 2 years that we'll get a 3rd season.

@thread, finished Initial D today. Kinda sad about that as it was a great show. Now i will put full focus on weeklys and finishing One Outs.
