North American manga publisher Viz Media announced on Friday that it will release Chika Shiomi's time-travel drama Yukarism and Matsuri Hino and Ayuna Fujisaki's Vampire Knight: Fleeting Dreams novel this December under its Shojo Beat imprint.

Viz previously published Shiomi's previous works Rasetsu and Yurara . Viz describes the story of Yukarism:

Yukari Kobayakawa, an accomplished author at the age of 17, writes with amazingly accurate details about historical Japan. It turns out he has the ability to travel back in time…to his past life as a renowned courtesan in the Edo period! As he goes back and forth between the past and present, he unravels the karmic relationship he has with his beautiful classmate Mahoro Tachibana…
The series will be available both in print and digitally

The Vampire Knight: Fleeting Dreams novel is a collection of short stories by Fujisaki based on Hino's Vampire Knight manga series. Viz will release the volume with a two-sided foldout poster and new illustrations by Hino. The short stories are:

"Deranged Love" A dying Rido reflects on his obsessive love for Juri.
"Gifts for Yuki" Kaname wants to reward Yuki for doing well on her studies with tutor Aido.

"Hidden Love" This is the story of Sara's first love.

"Queen of the Abyss" After Zero parts ways with Yuki and returns to being a vampire hunter, he encounters a vampire named Shien.

Viz's Shojo Beat also announced on Friday that it will release its first limited edition volume, Vampire Knight volume 19, in October and the Vampire Knight box set 2 compiling volumes 11-19 in November. The limited edition volume 19 will come with an exclusive cover and mini art book, and a regular edition will also ship at the same time. Shojo Beat also announced a complete series box set for Black Bird, with volumes 1-18 and a mini art book, for October.
