dude. the movie is way way way much better than the series. its really not that bad once you watch it.

But yeah, pretty much the only "bad" thing about the Haruhi movie is its length. There's no Endless Eight, and another part you'd like is that Haruhi isn't on screen for a large part of it. If you can't take that Facebook page's word for it, surely you can take Noobs'?
How about we (and any others who want to join) could watch it in sync (maybe via TMC). Would the chat provide enough to keep you there?

 

Haruhi is overall a mixed bag with some brilliant episodes and some really stupid episodes. The Disappearance movie is by far the best though. It just has a lot of long (and pretty) walking scenes. Yes, walking scenes. People just walking from point A to point B. But my god are they the most smooth looking walk animations you've ever seen. So much budget went into them for some odd reason.

 

I must also praise the haruhi movie even if you did not like the series knight. Although it was on the longer side i have watched it atleast 3 times and also agree on the point that it is probably the best part of the haruhi anime. I also find myself quoting the open line describing the cold alot recently

 

@Supernatural-Knight See? EVERYONE is saying the movie is better (you know, aside from me cause of how I think all the Haruhi things are perfect overall~). Surely these recommendations and the plan I stated above could mean you'd watch it?

 

For whatever reason I avoided everything Haruhi. So much talk about it, it really doesn't sound like something I would watch. I'll have to get it done with at some point though. One of those popular shows that anime people should watch kind of thing.

Anyone seen Evangelion?

 

I have not yet seen evangelion. My friends are so mixed on it its rather funny. Some of them swear by it and could probably join its religion and others say never to watch it because its so bad and not worth the time. Thats one that i will probably watch eventually but not really in a hurry.

 

im still gathering energy to watch the movie as i did for school days and corpse party. will watch it soon.................... maybe next 3 months.. no promises here.

 

fabled? maybe. its just that the weirdness of the japanese acted again. they said its a marvel, a masterpiece of some kind. but eh. maybe that time.

 

Yea its kinda funny my one friend who loves Evangelion even thinks its a bit odd how many people, especially in japan, love the series so much and then the creator apparently hates the fans of it. She once told me there is hate mail written to him in the background of one of the movies because of the original ending being so bad(?). eh i dont really understand it ,probably will watch it once and be done with it just to say i watched it.

 

I stumbled on a really wierd Zelda Majora's Mask video. I got lost on youtube as usuall and it was getting pretty late. It's a long video and I suggest watching it at night. This was some wierd stuff guys. Funny, weird, and maybe... a little scary.
