What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Caught up with my weekly anime plus started and caught up with Space Dandy, very funny anime indeed, continuing with Strawberry Panic, on episode 14 right now

 

Lately, I've been kinda considering watching Pokémon from the very start. If I did do this, would anyone be interested in joining me and perhaps discussing it in a purpose-made thread? Perhaps in a "one episode per morning" style like back in childhood?

Oh, and Super and I came up with what sounds like an amazing plot for an anime; A human with powers of a god (reverse Haruhi; he's the only one who knows of his powers) changes the current world into one where everyone has ears and a tail according to his kitteh obsession, and gets in trouble when he goes around tackle-hugging the kittehs with a "Nyaa~ nyaa~", getting jailed for assault and being given multiple restraining orders. That's as far as we've worked the details. XD

@Supernatural-Knight Yep, looks like the character is saving the VA. ;P

Seitokai Yakuindomo. Ep 4. I am starting to get worried that my "innocence" is getting damaged by this show, cause I'm starting to predict all the innuendos and whatnot. Though, I think maybe I've been able to do that for a number of years, but just had no innuendos to predict recently.

I watched/completed:

The Cat Returns MASTER PIECE!!! This is a Ghibli/Hayo Miyazaki (Wonder if I spelt those right?) movie and for me to call it a master piece and rate it as a 10/10, people! Do you know what this means? No? Well, it means... it beats Kiki's Delivery Service AND Spirited Away HANDS DOWN! And that is saying QUITE a lot actually since Ive seen a good many of that studio/person's films and those 2 are the best I've ever seen of his work (I've seen Totoro too of course but it's over rated imo, still good though) and The Cat Returns beat both of them with a land slide! I shall be watching Whisper of the Heart of Baron and Muuta are in it and I hope it'll be at least 80% as good as TCR was. The only regret/bad news here is, TCR and WOTH aren't a series but a movie so once that's over, no more awesomeness to continue with, and, no more Baron either or any of the cast from TCR.

Do you know what this also means? No? It means that TCR is on par with the greatness that is Steins;Gate, Puella Madoka, Kämpfer and others too!

Detective Conan Movie 9: Strategy above the depths This I rate as an 8, which beats 3-8's rating but, that said, I never considered a rating for 1-2 but one of those is prob an 8 as well and also, when it comes to DC/Case Closed, the rating doesn't mean that movie was better than another, just that I enjoyed it a bit more than usual as, all are enjoyable. (But 3 & 7 was meh lol)

That she has always or something like that been easily tired out. As in she can get sick easily or something if I recall right.

But even then, that doesn't tell us squat! It hints at nothing to get the viewer suspecting that might happen and even if it did, the viewer would dismiss it odds are, because of how Clannad plays out. So no! That IS a spoiler Mafia and Maddy! The good news here is, even had Maddy not of made that post saying that, thanks to ep 22 not having a sub of what someone wrote on that chalk bored, I went to YT (Then another site when no sub) to find the translation and, thanks to YT, I saw a vid saying pretty much what Maddy said with a pic of her. So it would have happened either way. lol But, regardless, it's STILL a spoiler. ^_^; Seeing as how we're in court, both of you have a chance to object to my objection and "present" evidence that it isn't a spoiler but said evidence has to be from season 1 of Clannad otherwise, it's a spoiler. If no objection/evidence is presented by your next post then you admit defeat. hehehehehe

Okay so I’ve watched 20 eps of Bebop now and I’m enjoying it, just not as much as the general populace says I should. It might be because I’m expecting a masterpiece that I’m finding it enjoyable not amazing, I will have to wait and see how well the ending is done but I’m expecting big things.
Knight, you might as well stop thinking/expecting bebop to be a masterpiece because it certainly isn't. I won't comment on the ending to avoid spoiling you but I can hardly wait for you to see it so I can then say something about it. lol No, bebop is good as you've said, and ONLY good imo.

Yeah..good luck with that Mafia, you've got over 600 eps to watch and that's not counting movies/specials either and seeing as I've seen MOST of Pokémon and all the movies/specials (Including most banned eps), I'll pass on the offer. Besides, if I watched 600 eps of Pokémon again, I could have watched 600 eps (Nearly all) of Case Closed.

My client -I am representing myself- was not stating that it wasn't a spoiler completely. He was merely clearing up the mistake of a false spoiler for the current anime of your watching, thus having no choice but to confirm it as spoiling for the other anime.
Furthermore, in your saying of

you are completely backing up my client's case, as it isn't a spoiler for the first anime.

In regards to Pokémon, I was more meaning just the first few seasons, like up to the end of Johto maybe, even just the end of Kanto would be fine. I'd just keep watching on my own afterwards. I wanna watch from the start up until the end of gen 3, then skip gen 4 cause I hate it, then go into gen 5 and 6. ^_^

Oh, and Super, is that Ghibli movie that Natsuru just watch the one that you recommended to me a while ago? All I remember is you said something about cats.

Naruto. Ep 155. In addition to not giving one single shit about anything in this arc, what really pisses me off is how they introduced it. The first filler arc was "We have intel on the location of the Hidden Sound Village", the second was "There's this highly specific beetle that can track scents hundreds of times more strongly than a dog, which can lead you to Orochimaru", those are okay. What is not okay is "There's this swordsman, and a while ago he was in the same group as this other swordsman, who is currently travelling with Itachi. So, find this guy who used to have a connection to a guy who has a connection to a guy who might know where Sasuke is."

was supposed to watch s2 of hell girl today but then watched till ep 8 of fancy lala. the audio and video was not in sync when it was converted to mp4 >.< will convert the entire season again tonight. hopefully both the vid and audio would sync.

Didn't get much time for anything cause of uni orientation and whatnot. Joined a bunch of clubs though, and enough that I can't remember all which ones I joined. Of course I joined the anime club; they gave me a showbag thing with coupons and a box of Pocky in it (may I add, this is one day after I finally found a store that sells Pocky XD), also, wondering how much thought was put into their name "Society of Anime and Manga Appreciation" so as to get the club initials to be "SAMA" XD.
Also joined the Japanese club cause they gave me noodles, the Video Game club cause why not, the Fantasy & Scifi club cause also why not, and the Card Game club cause they had Monogatari and Love Live posters in the stall.

After I'm there for a while, I kinda have an urge to make a club for wearing ears and tails, just for the shits and giggles. ^_^

Sorry @Natsuru-san and @Supernatural-Knight, I've had introduction to uni since Monday, and it's got me so uber busy I can't even keep up with three episodes of anime a day, let alone having the time to even open your messages. Hopefully I'll be able to some time in the next few days.

Seitokai Yakuindomo. Ep 6. Lols how the start of this ep reminded me of Corpse Party~ Also, I is happy cause I recognised the voice of that camera girl.
Naruto. Ep 157. Ugh, the dialogue of this arc really pissed me off too. It's over now, right? Right?

 

Managed to sneak in some catching up between appointments and transport, but looks like I'm going to have to abandon my beloved watching system of one ep per day, and just watch what I can when I can...

so since i bought my self a laptop for my bday ,i got caught up on space dandy, and as a dog owner (also my pup had been abonded before we got her) this latest episode hit home.

Also since i got the laptop i finally broke down and broke my no sub rule and started Attack on Titan so far 3 episodes in, probablely going to end up marathon-ing it tonight

 

I definitely know I had a dream that I was in Steins;Gate last night, but I can't remember anything about it...

I've been having it on my list for a while now.

 

@mafiacow, well here's the thing usualy if i watch a sub i'm constantly having to start and stop to read what they are saying which breaks the mood of the anime. secondly i'm spending most of my time on the bottom quarter of the screen missing everything. thats why i generally don't do subs, i'll wait for a dub just because a crap dub will always be better than a perfect sub because i can understand it. Now as I'm saying this AoT is incredibly good, i haven't had to actually stop or rewind any of it to catch what they are saying, And idk if it's the difference watching it on a laptop versus console but when i go to read the subs i still can see the whole screen and don't miss a thing.

Also Aot 1 - 10 really good and living up to the hype, at a plot twist right now but other than that good. Although here is one thing i want to call bull on but i'll let it go for now

 

Finished Strawberry Panic (that ending), Good Luck Girl (between the sub and the dub the dub was more funnier) and caught up with all my new release anime, now to watch the dub of Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, already watched the dub but we'll see what's the diff and after that will watch Ikki Tousen Xtreme Xecutor dub

 

Uni starts tomorrow~ (I is a little nervous)
And I had a read of the course outlines for each of my subjects, and I teared up just a little cause some of the topics we're covering just sound so delicious~

@Sir-Maddy Yes, it is really good. The humour makes my jaw hurt, and I feel that the pervertedness is corrupting my aforementioned "innocence".

@ThatRandomGinger Fair enough, that's pretty much how I felt with Panty & Stocking, and then the dub ended up being much more funny on top of that. And lols, isn't the AoT dub coming out soon anyaway?
