On a side note. I was thinking, should we make this a "Guess the anime opening / ending thread" and specify which we're doing? Or would creating a separate thread for endings be better?

 

Honestly I think I prefer it as just guess the OP considering they are generally more memorable than the ED themes of shows, but out of the two options I think a simple conversion of this thread to include ED themes would be the better move. It would just be us playing the new game anyway [why aren't more people playing this now anyway?] so we might as well keep it in the same thread.

Maddy you were right to assume it was the Initial D franchise, I just felt like adding to the degree of difficulty by making you doubt it

More people have been participating but not even all of them were tagged for this recent round, myself included.

Oops, didn't realise I missed tagging you, I checked and yeah I remembered Negi but missed you this time, sorry about that. I'm amazed that my last round lasted 4 pages worth of questions over the span of about 5 days, going for a sports anime looks like it was a good idea. I wonder if Bato would have remembered this tune now considering its been a few months since he last heard it.
Now all thats left is to wait for Maddy, I hope it will still be an opening for now at least.

 

Haha yeah, that is odd that Initial D all openings missed the second op for the first season. The thing that would have made this more difficult to find was that the 2nd op was changed to mean second stage op, instead of first stage 2nd op, I almost chose the wrong one myself when I went to record it. Don't lose faith in you searching abilities just yet.

Well that could have made for a quick round, lucky me for choosing this one. 

It’s funny cause I’ve only heard of Initial D twice.

I find this hard to believe, I've known of Initial D not long after getting into anime, it had been on my to watch list for the last 5 years until I finally started it last year.

 

 oh and just a suggestion, wont it be better if we also copy the song together with the clues? this is to save time looking as to which page it was at and to make it easy time visitors to give their guess.

This makes a lot of sense, we hadn't yet thought of it because the rounds were generally over with in less than 2 pages so there wasn't a large need to copy the clips link as well.
From now on I will copy the clip as well regardless of round length.
