Use this thread to post any music shorts you find on YouTube that are listed on MAL.

 

Here are a couple of music videos created my a Japanese comedian who goes by Tekken. These are probably some of the most emotionally powerful short I have ever seen. SK and I are huge fans!

If anyone one is wondering, the songs are by Muse. They were so impressed with Furiko that they made it an official video for Japan and commissioned Tekken to make one for their song Follow Me.

 

God I love Tekken's works, they are all great MAL needs to add some more of them. If I can find a bit more info about them I may do it myself, earlier today I found that he did an ad for Norton internet security, I had no idea what it had to do with computers but it was a good short nonetheless.

anyway as this is the area for music I'll post one I just found thanks to @bedheadred for posting honto ni atta reibai sensei, although I see that BK had already watched it [where was the mention of this one, I thought everyone knew I love CG animation?]

I love Furiko. I knew of it as "Pendulum." It makes my eyes all watery ever time by saying so much with so little (and using Muse.)

 

Mafiacow is going to start using MAL, that is a victory for me I don't care if it is only for shorts it is still a good beginning.
To answer your question there was no subtitles hidden in the annotations for this video, you just have to enjoy it for what you see and hear this time. I however don't feel a Love Live vibe from it, can you explain where this feeling comes from or is it one of those if you don't see it yourself you never will things?

Pendulum is great and was the first Tekken short I remember being linked to but I think I prefer Follow Me. There is just something about that one that makes me almost tear up, also helps that I prefer songs to be a bit faster paced.

^ Nope, this is the shorts club an AMV is simply that - an anime put to a song. Music shorts are official music videos for the song, as in they are meant to be with it in the first place, rosario vampire has none of these as far as I am aware. An official music short can be found listed on MAL so this won't classify, also doesn't help that it is blocked in my region…….

So you watched all the clamp music now as well Red, I went back through the music genre and discovered that I had forgotten to search them all but clover. Out of all four I prefer the second CLAMP in wonderland, it showcases a much smoother transition between titles which I like better and unlike the first one I'm not completely oblivious about the vast majority of its characters. I especially liked how the Mokona were our guides

Ummm… I guess their dance moves reminded me of Love Live’s dance moves, and the faces and emotions they showed too.  

Their dance moves aye, I guess I can see where you're coming from considering their music shorts quality. They are done in a similar style but personally I prefer Love Lives dance moves as they look a little smoother than the ones seen in Pair.

Hey now, you're giving away all of my tricks I know for MAL. Whatever works to get a larger populace to see these shorts is a good thing, but sadly I know this will largely go unused Red. I have only noticed from the given links people have supplied to their profiles, that a max of 3 others apart from BK, you and me have been adding these or any.

But lets not dwell on that sad stuff, I really want to know if anyone at all can find that first entry "0"? I've tried but it seems like its existence has been removed from the net since the youtube link in that discussion thread was removed.

 

Aye but the site gets 2000 unique visitors per month which means lurkers are reading our text. Maybe, just maybe I can spark some interest.

I can't find "O." I was amazed how much the animated picture looks like the songstress though.

 

2000 unique visitors a month, my god, if we can get them all watching these could you imagine the popularity boost that shorts will suddenly get. I think the first task is getting them to sign up to this forum before giving them help with watching stuff.

Reading the info for "0", it uses the songstress as the main, so I take it that she had to look like her. And from my searching it appears that it may be online, if you're willing to download it that is. It is crap really.
@keiichi-morisato, is there anything you could do about downloading this being the only option for watching it?

That being download only, but don't worry about it because @bedheadred, @bk-201 as of last night someone added a link to the thread entitled WHERE???!!!  Just check the final post.

If I were you I'd go watch it as soon as possible, who knows how long it will remain up on that site or on MAL because apparently they aren't meant to post links to content [ridiculous rule for that site but whatever, nothing we can do].
