    February 2nd marks the one year anniversary of The Midnight Channel since it originally started on JDR. I want to do something special to celebrate. What does everyone want to do? Marathon, double feature, a collection of movies from one series? I want to do something cool to commemorate so let me know what sounds good.

    I am leaned towards a marathon like we usually do, it is nice to have a variety of things, there is bound to be at least one thing shown that individuals enjoy a lot.

    What does everyone else think?

    What about a Ghibli movie marathon? They are movies that even if you have seen them once, you can always watch them again and again and you can add Porco Rosso.

    I like Red's idea. That way I can pick up in the middle if I have already seen a particular film. Cannot guarantee I will be able to make any of the showings though. :p It will depend what I'm doing on the day.

    I'm all for a Movie Marathon however I can't decide on what type of movie at the moment since I have not seen that much anime movies >_

    Yeah a movie marathon is definitely the best choice. I don't mind anything, so ghibli or normal is fine with me. The first movie i watched on the midnight channel was Howls Moving Castle, so Ghibli would be a nice way to celebrate for me.

    Are you gonna do it on february 2nd, which is a sunday or the 1st? We always did marathons on saturday so far.

    The only problem is we've already seen most of the Ghibli films and I don't wanna get into the habit of doing repeats for main activities. And crap, I knew I forgot something. I'll go add that to DT today.

    Actually. We haven't seen as many Studio Ghibli films as I thought we have. We should be able to feature the ones we haven't seen without doing any repeats.

    I like the movie marathon idea, and it'd be nice to have a variety. I may be late to it or may not be able to make it. Why does my schedule always interfere with my fun?

    Since I replied in the wrong area, Ill say it again. I think Love Hina Spring movie would be a good one now that we are past Christmas and headed towards spring.

    Instead of delaying everything with a voting thread (since I forgot to make one sooner) I'll be picking the movies myself based on what everyone nominated, and one of my of choices. Our weekend schedule will be up in the next day or so.
