@natsuru-san IMO Sekirei with action + comedy + harem + ecchi + a little yuri = 8.5, and also Miss Monochrome is funny due to the comedy that there is and it's only about 4 minutes long so you can catch up in no time.

Yeah, stupid censorship. It's not really that I care about seeing them naked, it's more that I don't like them not showing me something that was originally there. And anyone know if that was the case with Is This A Zombie? ? Cause for me, whenever it had a part where they'd probably be shown naked, it had like sun glare or steam covering it, and I was watching the official DVD. Was that how it was originally, or just censoring?

Meh, I'm just calling myself a trap out of convenience, and for teh funs. Hehe, Spor wasn't too happy with it, even though I WAS obeying his wording. XD And only one? I believe I've posted at least three other pics of myself here. Two were my Ash Ketchum cosplay for the avisig theme, and the other one was my Pika-jamas one for the Animapril incident. I mentioned about possibly changing my avi to it for this PJ theme should it get enough support in the avisig theme thread. XD Though, the last time I remember being mistaken for a girl because of my appearance was probs in '07 or so when I was 13 I think. Don't think it's happened like that since, but what has happened a few times since then has been internet people thinking I'm a girl from I guess the way I type, the latest occurance being the Nyako Incident (from that post to nearly the bottom of the page) XD

Yeah, I asked her if she'd seen it because there was a spoiler thing she'd probs get a kick out of, she hadn't so I told her she should watch it.
From what people have told me, an otaku is just someone whose main hobbies are anime and gaming, is that not it? Though, that description you gave has me pretty close to it. XD

TMoHS. Broadcast order, ep 19: Endless Eight (part 4). I absolutely love how Kyon "remembered" the bike thing, so cool!
Cat Planet Cuties. Eps 1, 2, 3, 4. Woot woot, Midnight Channel! At first, these dub voices really grated on me, but I've warmed to them a little. I was surprised that they pronounced manga correctly, but angered at the mispronunciations of the names. The sub didn't have many nyans to begin with, so I was rather ecstatic at the plethora of cat puns. =^_^=

 

Finished Cross Game. Easily a 10/10. Phenomenal characters, great story, great ending, great animation, awesome OST, this anime has everything. If you're a sports or romance anime fan, pick this one up. I guarantee you'll love it.

I reeeeeaaaaallly want to watch Nazo no Kanojo X next, and I probably will, but I really need to stop adding things to my watch list. I have two weeks off coming up, so I guess i'll trim that down then. For now, SPIT!!!!

 

Well, I did start watching Fate/Zero. Then realised I needed subtitles for all of the signs and the years in Japanese. So I'm going to have to watch it subbed I think. I cannot find a dubbed version with subtitles for signs and years. And the years seem to be rather important, as there are many jump cuts to the next year. So I would just get angry at the plot if I didn't know what year everything is meant to be set in.

Crap Dal OVA ep is out already? Hope there's a good quality vid of it. The series had crappy quality and had it not of been for our very own Keiichi-san then I wouldn't have been able to watch the anime due to crappyest quality I've ever seen for an anime.

@Mafiacow: If it was the DVD then there's a chance it was uncensored/unedited but there's still the chance it was the edited/censored version. I can't say on the steam but a common censor tool is to have a beam of light block out stuff. I plan to watch that anime myself someday so hopefully DT has the uncensored/unedited version.

This is why I hate that I've missed stuff here. I never saw those other pics of you and didn't get to be here for those events either. Heck what is this Animapril incident let alone without the incident? No idea of what it is?

In an effort to get more votes, I agreed to send a pic of me in my Pika pajamas to Red (for her to subsequently post on the FB page) if Pikachu won. Completed Nyan Koi! (Dub)

Here are my thoughts on the show in a spoiler to avoid spoiling the show for others. Mafia no clicking this until you've watched the show and as for your question of no cat girls? Well I won't spoil it for anyone but I will say this, even if it has no cat girls it is a MUST WATCH and is still worth it, but, who knows, maybe it does have cat girls. Watch and find out.

So, the twin tails in this anime (The twin girls), one is a Tsun I think and the other one is, well, no where near Yuno Gasai but has a "bit" of her in her, that and I think she's a bit of a sadist since she enjoys people's misfortune. Oh and did I mention she also has a Future Diary sorta? xD There was another ep later on involving these two which I SWEAR was an anime reference but I cannot pin point which one. It seemed like out of what I've seen it was either Bleach or Kekkaishi but even then those seem off. I'm guessing there's another anime out there that's similar to them.

I can't remember the rest of what I wanted to say except for the ending. Nicely done but, even the anime itself tells us of a S2. MAL doesn't list a S2 sadly and it's been 3-4 years since this anime aired but there might be a small ray of hope still. The manga itself is still on going apparently and THAT MEANS we might still get a S2 someday and believe me, even though this anime doesn't end properly, leaves us open to so many possibilities and some unanswered questions (Mainly what will become of our Hero and will he really be able to get the girl in the end) etc., its still a worth while watch and a must watch too! And tbh here, I love this anime so much it and it's so good that it NEEDS a S2, just because it's THAT GOOD!

In short if you haven't watched Nyan Koi! then I HIGHLY recommend it. I don't usually give anime a higher rating than 7.0 but this anime got an 8.0 It's REALLY GOOD and has a lot of comedy which is what helps it to shine! Even people who dislike cats might get a laugh out of this show and so on. tehe

@Mafia: Read above fr an answer to your question. And yeah, if it was steam then chances are that was the creators who did that and no an actual edit. Annoying yes but dims de breaks. Still I don't actually know for that anime. Nice cosplay of you and your friends.

Interesting. lol While I like Pikachu, Sonic is "Light years" ahead. hehehe Not quite sure how that is an incident though, unless you were embarrassed or something by cosplaying as Pikachu. lol

To be clear, I didn't say it didn't have cat girls in it, only that at the ep I was on I'd yet to see one. (except in the OP song) And it's dif got plenty of Cats. Cat girls though? Read above.

What I find pretty crazy, is that pretty much exactly one year ago (minus a couple days, actually), pretty much the exact same thing happened to me; I was hanging out with my friends, and wasn't able to watch any anime, so (last year) I marathon'd a little while they were asleep, mostly Haruhi.
And I also like how I watched thirteen episodes and it's Friday the 13th. XD

Maddy, you needn't worry about that baka harem tag. Is there more than 1 girl who likes the main character or someone else in this anime? Yes. Do they try and go after him? Somewhat but not like most of the harems I've seen where it's he is MINE! STAY BACK! No in this case they pretty much hide their feelings and those who tell him how they feel he quickly turns them down and tells them he's only interested in someone else. Heck you can hardly call this a harem anime but it does share some traits with harem anime, just EXTREMELY low. Plus the main character really only likes one of the girls and try's to tell her how he feels. Will he? I won't say but really, don't let the harem tag fool you. Look how much you liked Freezing which had a harem tag. Sure this anime is way different from freezing due to the genres but it's still worth watching.
