    That the issue of Hikikomori's in Japan is actually real? o_O I always thought the anime sort of exaggerated the problem. But, it turns out, it is in fact an issue in Japan:

    (?!•_•) I knew that people being hikikomoris was a real thing in Japan and that it could be viewed as a problem. As a hikikomori (or severe shut-in) I don't see why its as big of an issue. Those that choose to be hikikomoris just need to avoid becoming a NEET as well. If you can make money at home and not have to leave, go for it.
