What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Pokémon Origins ep 3. So THAT'S how they pulled that much story bing cramed into one ep off. Not bad, a bit cliché/cheesy what happened in this ep with how the characters (Or a certain character) were personality wise.

But not bad. Shows stuff which needed better clearing up and gives more detail to why this and that happened. Now, 1 ep left and from the gif I saw, it's going to be awesome as Shi*! (Aka way past cool aka way past excellent) If not then I'll be let own and heads will roll. xD (I kid)

Also I've put Dragon Drive on hold at ep 8. It's just not the same anymore as it was in the beginning and if I was still into kiddie shows then this would be better than it is for me I'm sure.

@Natsuru-san Yeah, I’m finding most of the characters likeable, with Sena being my favourite. Though, probably the only character I’m finding a bit dislikeable would be Yozora, I just don’t really like her.
That one minute thing was because of My Mission, where I decided I needed to bring my AP total up to a month by yesterday. It actually only ended up at four weeks cause only Feb has a plain four weeks rather than what I think is a month’s average number of days. I was aiming for a twelfth of the year spent on anime, but ended up with a thirteenth, which I like better cause thirteen is my favourite number.

I was just more thinking along the lines of how it’s commonplace for boys to only wear swimming trunks (thus being top-half naked), yet they didn’t do it with him even though the nun and whatshisface’s sister have been shown naked (which I think is just creepy).
From my vague vague memory of being considered (in newer-day terms) as trap-like as a kid, pretty much all I remember was being annoyed that people kept misrecognising as a girl.

Yeah most people don't like Yozora, even I had moments where I didn't like her for what she did at times but in the end, I still like her and dang they need to dub S2 already. T^T
Thought so, I'd be upset too if that happened to me when I set a goal. Hey, you could try again and that could be your new years resolution and I might can help if you do since I've seen a ton of anime myself. I'm sure I've seen at least one that you haven't.

Kind of screwed up the rating of the few I was watching now. Let's see if I can watch some more now that I got a little time.

Lot of talk about Pokemon. I remember getting teary eyed on some of the movies (Mewtwo one comes to mind). I'm a sucker for these things sometimes

Even though rubber doesn't conduct electricity, isn't lightning sorta a different story? I mean, there's such a crazy amount of energy in it that shouldn't it damage anything regardless? (Forgive me if I'm just being a fool again, I just don't know much about lightning). Furthermore, what the hell kind of difference would it make as to what substance you strike Enel with? Lightning isn't a solid, so nothing should be able to touch it regardless...

Currently finishing up Clannad After Story while keeping up with the 3 airing ones that i am watching. I think i may finally watch attack on titan after this but also feeling a bit like rewatching some haruhi.... dam you haruhi.

The Sister network calculating for whatshisface gives me the idea that I could use them to start up my own sorta network and enhance my own ability (that I'd want to have anyway). Nyahahahaha!!

It's a shame it's sub only but I'll watch it anyway. (When I can) And today I found some vids to anime that have gender bending in them (amongst other things relating to it) and even found some more vids on stuff I'd been wanting to see the rest of the series for. *AHEM* Such as Cross Play! > More specifically a vid (and then some) for the following gif which I'll put in a spoiler since it's so big but, this gif reflects the action I'm doing now and my emotion too.
Forgot but the last ep of Lupin 3rd the woman called Fujoko Mine has a game reference that took me by surprise. MAJOR SPOILER HERE!

G.L.A.D.O.S. from the Portal games. while she herself wasn't in the anime they DID have a unique *Version* of her in it and this is what made the WHOLE ANIME make some sense given later eps.

@Sir-Maddy: Sorry I got something mixed up, there is yuri (And a good bit of it) in the Needless song, its just its the ED song and not the OP song. Atm I've not seen the girls in that song so I don't know them but "if" it has yuri like it was showing then it'll make for some good yuri time. >

DTR has pretty HQ and is where I watched it. I've yet" to come by an anime site that has higher quality than DTR does.
Only you can say that Mafia. But you gotta admit "trap" is a bit offensive vs. gender bender and other titles/tags which aren't as/at all offensive.
2nd spoiler: That, is cool. I don't suppose you'd date her/like her and that she had short hair, was a tom boy when ya'll were kids and you didn't know she wasn't a he? hehehe Yeah I got the reference.  (Was being serious with my question while also joking btw)

 

So it's time for the halfway thoughts on Cross Game, and this is officially going on my "This needs to be dubbed" list. This anime has earned it's #55 rank so far and is really proving to be much more than I expected it to be. The characters are absolutely phenomenal, and that's something that scores major points in my book. The main character is really fun to watch and not boring or stupid. The plot is a little tedious however. It's okay to revolve around a main theme for the plot, but it's not necessary to shove it in the viewer's face every episode. I'd much rather prefer to see occasional glances back into the main theme while watching the characters develop, than to see the main theme seemingly every single episode. It does get tedious and annoying at times, and when the subject matter is such that is in Cross Game, I don't think annoyance is the emotional response the creators were going for. But other than that, the art is really fitting for the characters. I have to hand it to Synergy, they did an excellent job with character designs here.

*sigh* That "needs to be dubbed" list seems to be getting longer all the time. Still though, for a subbed sports anime to be ranked in the top 100 on MAL, they've got to be doing a lot of things right.
