Also about Korra, am I the only one that is getting a bit disappointed with the direction of this second season currently airing? Some of Korra's actions, some of the other characters emotions, essentially the rewriting of Aang's personality because of his son. It just seems to be getting worse as it goes on, the shame is that I enjoyed the direction the first season took of it but what they are doing is a bit much.

 

Yeah Korra irritates me as a character, I don't find her likeable in anyway, the only time I did like her was when she was the little kid in the first episode using 3 of the 4 elements upon appearing onscreen. Umm Noobs, Aang isn't in this he kind of has to be dead for Korra to be the avatar, they reference Aang but due to what they've said in recent episodes his fun loving everyone is equal side kind of disappeared as he got older. This irritates me....

 

Yeah I prefer Aang as a whole over Korra but what I meant was that the new series is destroying what Aang stood for in the previous season.

They have made Aang out to be a bastard that kind of neglected his other 2 children because they weren't air benders. It was said that he paid extra attention to his air bender son, taking him away on trips and essentially favouring him since he is the only other air bender. It lead to the point where the other 2 confronted the statue of Aang to let off some steam about their pent up emotional baggage he left them with. It also doesn't help that the air bending son can't even think of a single good time that all 4 of them had together.
So Aang goes from everyone should be treated equally and live a peaceful life together, to caring more about an air bender, to some degree would be natural since he is the next gene ratio but to the extent they made it sound like......

Now about Korra, the avatar is meant to keep the peace and use their powers for the greater good, so far we've seen her use them for a game in the first season and now she's basically started and leading the civil war, great peace keeping methods demonstrated there.

 

Its not that its that bad, but the change of Aang's morals after the events of the first season is annoying the fans, someone like him wouldn't change his personality so much just because he grew up.
Also I'm still against Korra as a whole, show of bitch using her powers for her own gain instead of the good of everyone straight away. On the positive I do like the polar bear dog and the fact that flying bison aren't extinct.

 

I still need to watch Avatar let alone Korra.
