So why are “we the enemy” being invited into this group?!


An excellent question BK, one of which I knew I should have answered elsewhere beforehand. The answer is simple.
1. Because in the past you boys were in the original Girls Only Thread and at least when I came to JD,  it was nice, good and all and we had fun.
2. Us Admins (Not including Kusanagi) got together and all said how we felt the group should be. (Settings etc. etc.) The result was we'd let you boys in. So that's why you're being allowed in here.

Hello, good ladies (and apparently gentlemen)! Masterofflys, at your service... I just received an invite from Ella, presumably because I'm an active party in her TBRP group- which is good fun if anyone happens to fancy it

I was a bit confused as to why a decidely male member of the forums would be invited to a girls only group at first- you wouldn't believe how creative the explanations I came up with were- but I poked around a bit and it seems fairly straightforward now.

So, a bit about me... I suppose the big thing is that I love anime. I started watching my first shows about five years ago when I started university, and I've completely lost track of what I've seen since then. Naturally, I am also a gamer, though I think I've been neglecting my games somewhat lately... but not as much as I've been neglecting my reading, though I can't resist a good story

If by some freak accident you happen to take interest in me, there's plenty more to be said, just feel free to ask and I'll bore you with all the details you could ask for

 

It feels strange being in a Girls-Only club, but BUTTS TO IT! I am Captain Eclipse XIII! I am also a part of the TBRP group, and have only RPed as a girl thus far, so I suppose that counts for something! I hope we can all get along!

 

Hey, I'm another guy introducing himself here! When I got the invite to join from Miss Elegent Serenity, I was a bit startled but also not too surprised since my username is often perceived as feminine. I'm 19, and I only started watching anime a month after I graduated high school back in 2012. I'm not too sure what to expect from this group but I decided I came to check out this "war thread." *cocks weapons in background*

 

Heloo everyone names skittles and like most of you I was invited by Elegance and a man no clue why but guessing i must be very feminine even though i don't think i am lol. Im 19 years old been watching anime for awhile now used to use JD till it got shut down now its a mixture of Dubtopia and watchcartoonsonline. now to time to go and make everyone get along in the war thread!

 

Konnichiwa~! I’m Hikikomori and I’m one of the Forum Moderators. My responsibilities are to enforce the DTR ToS and, if a violation is made, give out warnings, just like an officer.
I’m 19 years of age, and I’m one of the proud females on DTR. I currently live in Wisconsin. People tend to describe me as kind, considerate, and down-to-earth. As for me, I’m very shy in person and I’m very cautious who I call my friends. I’m almost fluent in Spanish and I’m trying to learn Japanese. I’m going to school for Computer and Networking Administration. I also know HTML, CSS, a bit of JAVA, and some PHP. I’m also fairly decent with Photoshop, though not as good as other members. My hobbies include cooking, rooting/modifying my devices, puzzles, and anime. Some of my favorite animes include Black Rock Shooter (OVA and series), C3, Darker than Black, Heaven’s Memo Pad, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and Steins;Gate. I’m also a die-hard yuri fan.

I’m also the administrator of the Weekly AVI/Sig group. Members of my group change their avatars (AKA AVI) and/or signature images to match a theme picked by the group. I is teh Mafiacow. A nyanteen year old Aussie male. I joined the JD forums around New Year's, but by the time I was properly into the forum, the shutdown happened. Don't think I posted in this one back then though.
My fave anime is TMoHS, with my fave genres being Comedy, Sci-fi, and Slice of Life, and I'm getting a bit bored of magic and plain violence.
I is a self proclaimed Grammar Nyazi, which is a term I invented for Grammar Nazis who talk with nyans and internet-kitteh-meme-like speak. As for this long-winded post, I just felt like it.

If you wish, for the sake of this thingy, you may consider either of the following option thought things:
1. My real name is gender neutral.
2. You may consider me to be Haruhi, as per my avis.

Edit: Wild third option appeared! I vaguely remember that when I was a kid, from strangers' words I was apparently trap-like, and thusly was called a girl at times.

Hey everybody, Dungeon Master here. I got an invite from Elegant Serenity a little while ago but I didn't accept until today because...well, I kinda thought it might have been a mistake, since it seemed kind of, you know, strange. I get it now. Anyways, before anyone asks, my username doesn't actually have anything to do with Dungeons and Dragons, oddly enough. It's just an old nickname of mine, I might get into that story later if the mood strikes me.

To quote Doctor Evil, the details of my life are quite inconsequential....but I guess that doesn't make for a very good introduction, so I'll give this a shot. I originally got started with DTR when a buddy of mine invited me to the forums and I've been slowly making myself at home ever since. It's nice to have a place where I can talk about anime and things like that without getting funny looks since only a couple of my friends are into anime, so I'm kind of the odd-one-out at times. Not that I mind. Being weird is pretty much my modus operandi, which is probably how I "earned" the title of Dungeon Master in the first place.

My hobbies include anime (obviously), video games, visual novels and basically anything else that involved sitting in front of a screen for a few hours. It's hard to pin down my "favorite" genre of anime since I've tried and liked a little bit of everything. I guess I'm just open-minded and stuff. It's the same thing with music, while there are a few genres that I tend to lean towards, I'll pretty much listen to anything that isn't rap, hip-hop or reggae. As for video games, I guess if I absolutely had to pick a genre, it'd be Strategy RPGs since a few of my all-time favorite games are SRPGs.

And...I guess that's about it, really. Time to wrap this up with some over-the-top cheesy final words.

Just an average person really... nothing special about me (or at least i haven't discovered anything yet) but simply looking forward to what Fate has in store for me later on within life, so if what you've read sparked some sort of interest for me or maybe a slight chuckle even then feel free to get in contact with me if you'd like; however... I personally don't just add "randoms" and by that I mean that I have to get to know you somewhat well enough for me to accept you as a friend in the same manner like if we've met outside in-person instead (no hard feelings) but that is how I am with socializing amongst others.

I enjoy daily exercise and look into the media when there is something on that catches my attention (news, special event, weather, etc.) Not much of a book reader but I can easily pickup a magazine and gaze at it for a couple of minutes (mainly when boredom hits me in head) Like all sorts of cultures/foods/places and much much more but I'll be more than happily to go in-depth (detail) if you so desire to know.

 

Здравствуйте! Hi there! I'm Jane and I usually have a tough time introducing myself. I'm an 18 year old Russian girl who resides in New Jersey. I'm a huge bookworm. I'm a pretty creative person and often times find myself picking up projects that I'm unable to finish due to a lack of resources (which means it usually takes me about a month to realize that I was working on something and then get out of the house to get what I need). I love talking to people and I'm always willing to lend an ear to anyone who needs one. In my free time I'm usually out getting frozen yogurt with friends, playing animal crossing, in a skype call, or just doing whatever other boring things that I tend to do.
