    I really don't think the film needs a sequel. Even if Hideaki Anno plans on doing it.

    I love this movie and think it ended nicely, I don't think it needs a sequel. Also, if Miyazaki isn't making it then I'm not interested. He wrote/drew the manga and the movie and only he should be the one to make a sequel in my opinion.

    The movie's ending is very much open for a sequel, it would be nice if the decision is made to make it but it's mostly unnecessary. Also, knowing Hayao Miyazaki wouldn't be the one to make it, I'm not very enthusiastic about it.

    Never expected this movie needing a sequel, but that's just me.
