Disney movies in the 3rd grade was a part of everyones school life I think, I remember watching some of them since teachers did get lazy at times not wanting to teach so playing a movie is the easy alternative for a young aged class. I remember watching all sorts of crap from that age ranging from Round the Twist to Toy Story. If you think about it, to the uninformed mind anime is just another show like Tarzan so it wouldn't be that farfetched to think that a teacher would show them to a class [being an appropriate one of course]. But only for the 2nd and 3rd grades damn, you didn't get to slack off very often in highschool did you?

yep. no slacking during high school days. no more anime/3D/cartoon movies. we get movies played by actors mostly movies that are from novels. now that i think about it, we only get 1 movie per subject.

I remember watching those in school a bit earlier. Around 2nd and 3rd grade we were watching The Magic School Bus, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Reading Rainbow and some show with a lady and a puppet that taught you spanish.

I never got to see any anime at school. I do remember watching the South Park movie just before the end of the school year in my Geography class when I was in 8th grade.

well at least you get to have class tour every year, havent you?

the out of school activity that we expect every year is a journey towards retreat houses. we do praying and such there. was fun but not as fun as you see on anime class tour where they travel to distant places for 2 days.

I think the furthest we've ever had a trip was to Washington DC. So about 2,400 miles from where I live.

Lucky going on these trips, I'm somewhat jealous as I never went on a trip with my high school. As far as I can remember the only trio they went on was to the governmental house, and seriously screw that I wasn't interested even slightly. Though I think there was a couple of others I never went on either. Yeah I've not travelled very far ever...

Time to go on a trip.

I have a deadly combination of too much free time and the ability to become overly competitive at menial tasks, that thread shall be mine.

Cool a new person to the madness of Last Person, I see that you are new and are an Aussie also, it may be a little late but welcome to the forums enjoy your time here that you'll inevitably be wasting from now on @m-theoria

Yeah you never know I could enjoy those to some degree until I meet my inevitable end, and in one case many times over.

Pretty much a safe bet but then again like they have a designated place, they go where they want to go...
Although I've only seen the 2 action ones that are only technically H so this is mostly from what you hear on the internet more than anything else. Although some borderline things I've seen support this.

haha @supernatural-knight I know what your game plan is, but I'm afraid being friendly shall not win you favors in this battle of the ages. I shall be last, to come first.

(Although is it mighty to fine to meet you as well good sir :) )
