Last Person to Post Wins

Well most of us have technically joined another anime community being MAL or AP, sure we don't use them for such reasons but still they kind of count.

About the trolls, something to do with the old nursery rhyme of living under a bridge, either that or something to do with tentacles take your pick.

I would disagree with that. Unless you're using the forums or clubs on MAL or AP you're not really participating in the community aspect of the site you're just using the list to organize your anime viewing.

 

I see, thats what I thought at first but then I realised that obviously you are added to the member count and anything you rate is affected [even if it is only a minuscule amount]  in its overall listings.

I was going to try and be "active" on MAL but after 16 posts and noticing that no one even responds directly due to the amount of posts and the more difficult navigation of it I decided I couldn't care less for it.
So now my list is all I use it for, well that and to see what you guys think about certain series.

 

I to was going to be active on mal, its great but just seems hassle to input anime. I like the fact its nice to have a list and as you build up your list, you can get better recommendations and so forth but ive never been interested in keeping up to date with mal.


If you download your anime just use the auto updater.

 

I've never found it difficult to keep it up to date, it isn't that hard to log in and just add a new series once a week or something, although I do update it daily due to new releases now.
Anyway something I find funny

Just because you have a MAL doesn't mean that you'll get better recommendations, people try to force their favourites onto others all the time. And if you check the MAL by extension site it lists suggestions supposedly based from what you have watched, so yeah I checked it the other day and out of the 15 slots 8 were yaoi or shounen ai titles 2 were hentai while the remaining 5 were made out of romance and magic series.
So regardless of it being by a person or a computerised system there are always inaccurate and bad recommendations.

 

Umm what bridge one Noobs, I don't see anywhere mention a bridge apart from your message.

But downloaders eventually clear stuff to make more room for new series so relying on that isn't the best unless you have many external hard drives.

And is it just me or did this thread suddenly get much slower again?

You preferring the bridge one actually kind of surprises me, could of sworn it would of been the other option.

 

Interesting @Silvo's back but more or less hmm. Well I guess you take what you are given. It could be that you've not missed much either, forums still haven't gained that much momentum and go hours without new responses still.

Once a day only? So that means that the conversational aspect of last person is kind of worthless. Well I guess it can always revert back to just being random topics again.

 

Oh so you really are back, you must of gotten a lot more free time then if you can do this.
