Current and Upcoming AVI/Sig Themes

Hey everyone, would anyone of you happen to know what font it is that Yuki types in when she’s in the computer with the whole “Yuki.N>” thing? (This is actually relevant.)

Do you have a screenshot I could see for comparison?

 

to a point i do like to know the gender of who im talking to for contextual and proper manner reasons.



I'm a guy. Just saying.

 

A while ago, I tried googling for the font for a different purpose, but to no avail.

And you guys wonder why I didn’t tell tell anyone my gender when I first joined. It’s baka rules like this that keep women away. ANYONE the demands “proof” from me will never get it. I’m sick of seeing stuff like this here on this forum.


Does it honestly matter what gender anyone is here? It doesn’t change the dynamics of any relationships on the forum. We are all equals who enjoy anime.


I have to agree with Kiri & Red. Knowing one's "gender" doesn't matter. You'll find if you search "gender" is not as simple as "male" & "female." And aside from guys harassing woman online, I agree that I TOO am tired of seeing that baka "rules" of the internet brought up. Yes it's a joke, is it funny to guys? Apparently so but is it funny to woman? No, no it is not. It's an insult and how would you like it if the rules of the internet there were reversed? Now how do you like those rules now? If you're a guy and it was brought up every time that there's no men on the internet and so on then eventually it'd get to you and if not, well, what can I say. women's feelings are more sensitive than a man's are. (Not always though) This is just my take/opinion/feeling on this matter and if you (Anyone) want to be respectful of women, then stop bringing up that rules of the internet please. It's NOT funny to women at all.

 

On a side note, I take it you're not taking part in this theme?

 

I am taking part, just a bit behind with things right now. I got my sig done, but I still need to make an AVI for this theme. And thanks for the image, I'll look into it the font soon.

Okay, here's what I found for the font. It's MS Gothic and you can DL it here . This font is a defult font for CMD on Japanese computers. I have my computers local set to Japanese, so it uses this font (installed a JP language pack from MS).


If you choose to use this font however, you'll need to make it small, rasterize it, then enlarge it to get the pixely effect. An alternative is to use the 00ne Imprimante matricielle (for Meek) Regular font as it's similar and you can get it here . I hope this helps.

If you mean the Ghibli theme then no. Unless I change my mind which I doubt I will. Got WAY too much going on to search for a sig that I want to use. (Yes, I'm THAT picky) And not changing my Avi for a while. (Plus there's another sig I want to use)

 

Still unsure what I'll do for next week's theme. Naoto from P4 with her glasses might be cool, then of course I'd have to consider either Yin or Tomoko as well. Making an avi/signature with all three would be ambitious, but we'll see how much time I have.

 

miku wears glasses, but i think luka pulls it off better

 

Was hoping with my sig that I'd get something maybe like from Disappearance with the glasses (with or without Yuki wearing them) and the computer screen, but this works too.

 

Well I couldn't find any decent Yin or Tomoko pictures, so I went with a Persona 4-themed avatar and signature this week.

 

I found a picture of the main Squirtle Squad leader.
