    Finished my first watch of the masterpiece that is RAINBOW, I say first watch because surely this is a series I will revisit in the future. Once I finally get into reading manga this is one I will definitely read.
    It had almost every adult theme which includes, drinking, swearing, smoking, gambling, drugs, immorality, humiliation, corruption, blackmailing, lust, love, violence, mutilation, torture, suicide, death threats, murder, consensual sex, prostitution, rape, it really had it all covered. The emotional portrayal of these young men is simply brilliant, they have nothing and are told that they are the scum of the earth yet they continue to dream and think about the future. Their camaraderie is enviable as it must be nice knowing people that will do anything they can to help you despite it being life risking.
    Then there was that soundtrack, some of that music really helped bring the whole thing together and actually made it quite touching.
    Obviously I rated it a 10, a true masterpiece well deserving of its high rank on MAL.

    Also @ovyda you'll be glad to know I started Kuroko no Basket today, and I have to say it is quite good. Despite not being into sports myself this show has something that has caught my attention. So far I am only 4 eps in but all the same I didn't think I'd enjoy an anime about a sport I don't like, guess I was wrong.
    Your recommendations are amazing, so far everything has been 8, 9, or 10 worthy, makes me all the more interested in watching Phantom and Bakuman sooner than I thought.

    I am happy too Knight ^^ Kuroko is one of my favorite animes aswell. In fact, Space Brothers, Kuroko no Basket, Phantom and Bakuman me and Ovyda both rate as a 10. I guess all our tastes are pretty similiar when it comes to great animes.

    Anyway, I finished half of Marmalade Boy [38 episodes] and so far I care more about the side characters than the main characters. Hopefully that changes over the next 38.

    Just finished (in one sitting) Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail. AWESOME, just like all the rest of Black Lagoon, although even MORE violent, so squeamish stay away.

    Through 50 episodes of Marmalade Boy. I don't know why I never noticed this before, but all the characters use those really big blocky phones that use to be around way back when [Considering this anime was made before I was born in 1994, I find it cool].

    I keep putting roles I've heard the VA's in from different anime into this.
    Now I have this messed up funny piece:
    Masaomi Kida is our MC, his lover is Shana and they have a baby named Illyasviel.
    His sister/cousin, Ritsu is also in love with him.
    During Kida's travels, he helps out Sayaka and Madoka.

    God damn it..
