Destiny Changers RP

It takes place in a world were everyone is trying to find the legendary dungeon. Everyone is scouring the earth looking for this dungeon to get the reward that the king has offered. His elucidator the most powerful weapon in all of the kingdom.

The era is medieval so no modern weapons magic however is allowed but you must have a downside to it so your not op.

Backstory- his mother named him after the holy nights sword Excalibur in hopes that one day he too will be in countless legends when he got word of this challenge the king gave he set out to find this dungeon and conquer it
Weakness- the sight of his own blood, his temper, And alcohol

 

"Today's the day I leave" Excalibur said this as he walked out his door saying by to his old life in the village. He soon came to find a group of people waiting at the gate. He asked what was going on and they told him that the guards aren't allowing anyone to leave. He knew another way out of town that he used to sneak out as a kid he headed towards it and set out for a dungeon. When he came across his first one he went in and then he came across a demon. He drew out his sword the demon laughed "how do you expect to kill me with that pig sticker" "this pig sticker is more powerful than you think how's bout you shut the he'll up and prove to me it's just a pig sticker to you and nothing more." The demon charged at him he started to the left and slashed him straight lacrosse the chest killing the demon. "See I told you this pig sticker is more powerful than you think next time don't underestimate me and my sword you son of a bitch." He continued on in th dungeon when he noticed that there was a hidden floor under were the demon was. He decided to got to sleep on the trap door and set a fire for warmth near him.

Weapon/magic: No melee weapon - uses a shortbow made from the Elder Tree of his homeland, imbued with properties to help resist aging and damage. Uses enchanting magic, and has a large repertoire of knowledge about mixing various poisons. Uses Unlimited Quiver magic.

Appearance: Dark clothes and long white hair. Dark skin, red eyes, tall and lanky.

Race: Dragon/elf Hybrid
Weapon/magic- Mornes Hammer (google it) close range magic.
Weakness: Range.

 

Ulric continued firing poison arrows rapidly behind him, the winged creatures were not something he, nor Endrall were familiar with.

"They just keep coming, brother!"​

A flurry of arrows released from the Elder Bow, connecting squarely in the skull of the creatures - but they continued to amass in the skies. The dark purple magic arrows dissipated as the creatures dropped from the sky.

Ulric's fingers began to bleed from pulling the string on the bow.

"Brother can you fly any faster?" ​

Ulric was rapid firing arrows, but still couldn't make a dent in the gathering horde of wicked looking bird-like creatures.

"It's no use!" he screamed over the loud winds.​

Ulric stood up from his brothers back, throwing a poison bomb into the pack of creatures. In a swift moment, one of the creatures devoured the bomb in midair and dive-bombed towards the ground, protecting its pack.

"Are they... are they intelligent!?" Ulric shouted in panic.​

 

Excalibur left the dungeon after defeating everything in it. He saw to people struggling with some flying beasts he remembered his sister mentioning studying he threw his sword and yelled "try this it's an enchanted sword". "Were have you been I've looked everywhere for you" he pointed at the sky "no time to explain can you use your magic to make me fly so I can help them" as he was saying this he started to float off the ground. He flew up to them and flew beside the one that looked like a Dragon "What made them so mad at you?" They both looked at each other he then realized they just attacked them. "You know they are an intelligent species theese ones I'm guessing that the irregular behavior is because of the demon that I just killed before helping you normally they don't attack without reason unless one of you is an elf they hate elfes they are the reason they almost died off so long ago around 2000 years before the king came to order I wonder why they aren't in their territory to begin with they live all the way over in the mountains over yonder that's a three days walk two days fly at least and that's without breaks well duck I don't know what to do my sword didn't work and usually it does hey sis get yo but up here and help damit." He saw his sister was in trouble "hey I have an idea that might work if not it helps our only hope my sister who studies theese danm things fly down there with them trailing you and they should attack those sand walkers she's fighting and we can escape."

Race: Red Panda (Anthropomorphized)
Weapon/Magic: Bamboo staff (Enchanted), Hat that can be used as a shield, Elemental Magic.
Weakness: Extended spellcasting, Long naps, Being broke, High power spells, Hand to hand fighting
Backstory: Styani was born to a clan of monks living in the mountain ranges of the country. As she got older the wandering instinct of her kind kicked in. She apprenticed herself to a traveling mage and stayed under the old drunk's tutelage until he died in a monster attack. On her own she continued drifting to see as much as the world had to offer, with the occasional dungeon crawl when the mood hit her.

The legendary dungeon, if rumors were to be believed, was filled with unique creatures and ruins.

Styani let out a long yawn and stretched in the warm sunlight. It had been a good day so far, warm and sunny with a gentle breeze just perfect for naps. The tree she was sitting against could be a little more comfortable but it was in a prime location in a park near one of the gates. A bird landed on a branch just over her head and started singing. The bird exploded in a ball of fire and feathers for its trouble.

She had almost slipped into a nice doze when a ruckus at the nearby gate made her look up in annoyance. There were shouts and more guards running towards the growing crowd. Standing up Styani watched from under the tree as the crowd turned into a mob. A green fireball burst in the air above the gate, the signal to call for more guards. It took only a short amount of time for the backup to arrive.

Once the mob had been dealt with Styani casually made her way over to the gate ignoring the hostile looks from the remaining guards.

"You looking to cause trouble?" One of them said to her when she got close. He was a young man with only a few days growth of stubble and a look about him saying that he really wanted to use the club he held.

"No, no trouble. It looked like you lot had enough of that already. I'm simply a traveler with a lot of questions and nowhere to be." She replied to him with a grin. "So what were they all upset about?"

"No one is allowed out of the city by order of the Duke."

"The city is sealed? It's still midday, why are you keeping people inside?"

The young guardsman fidgeted a moment but didn't respond. Styani waited a few moments but he didn't say anything further.

"Aww, aren't you going to tell me?" She asked putting her muzzle into a pout and dropping her body into a depressed slouch that had the advantage of dipping her body forward to give him a little bit of a view.

Ulric snatched the sword out of midair, looked at it for a moment, and threw it back down.
"What the hell am I supposed to do with a sword? I'm an archer."

"Endrall - fly low and drop these on the ground. Be ready to catch me!"

Ulric left a sack of poison bombs on Endrall's back and ran down the tip of his tail, before leaping into the air.

"Come get me ye ugly pidgeons!" Ulric bellowed, never ceasing to rapid fire arrows."

The wicked bird-like creatures screeched viciously and began to swarm towards Ulric.

Ulric screamed back towards Endrall
"When you catch me, fly us low over the bombs!"

Weapons- noctis Isis one type of magic as his weapon switch it allows him to summon a sword of his choice as long as it fits his strength parameters lucci uses three types of magic void, healing, and illumination
Weakness- noctis is weak to all types of magic even his own and he can't be in combat too long or he takes damage from himself lucci weak to every type of ranged and mele attack except magic for ranged

 

Noctis and his wife lucci were walking through the city when they saw a red panda talking to the guards noctis walked up and said "if your trying to get out of town I can help but don't let the guards see you or they'll arrest us both and my wife over there." He pointed to lucci "so whadaya say you want to get out of here or not."

"Well I don't really have anywhere I need to be. But a change of scenery would do me good. I've already been here too long." Styani said casually. She sized up the man and his wife for a moment then shrugged.

"I suppose since I can't go anywhere I'll take you up on that offer. Though I never expected a vagabond like me to get such a friendly offer from strangers," she lied for the guardsman's benefit. She took a few steps away from the guardsman over to where lucci was standing.

"Hi there, I heard you know a way out of town."

 

"Yes we do its actually how we got in you see I'm just a commoner and I'm lucky to have noctis cause you see noctis here is the kings son. Anyway just follow me and I'll show don't mind noctis he's not very social unless I tell him to be. So how's your journey been so far? I ask because you look like a wanderer. Have you done much dungeon crawling during your travels me and noctis love to raid dungeons it's how we get better at combat that and we spar each other. Norris usually wins the sparing matches it may not look like it at first but once he figures out your combat type he can make a plan to use its weakness to his advantage in the middle of battle and then he'll strike using that plan he just made. I'd keep on his good side if I were you pose him off enough and he'll challenge you and he won't hold back."

 

OOT: Sorry for not responding in a while.

Styani lifted an eyebrow at the woman's remark. "I have no interest in fighting your husband."

"Well, I've explored a few dungeons when it strikes my fancy. My journey is a lifelong one. I've spent most of my life on the road but it suits me. Seeing new sights everyday, new places and new people. You and your husband for example," she said with a smile, "Will the two of you be joining me once we're past the walls or do you still have business here?"

 

OOT it's fine glad your back

"Well we really don't have anything to do here so if you'd allow us we would like to join you." Noctis heard styani ask the question and lucci respond. "Yeah that's not a bad idea I'm noctis by the way if you need anything let me know ok. Oh and if you want there's a dungeon right on the way to a place I want to go to gather some info about something. We could go raid it if you'd like just be prepared for some pretty nasty beasts to attack us including three demons that are in it waddaya say you up for it."

 

"It's a pleasure to meet you Noctis," Styani said with a bow. "As for myself, I am the Great Styani, traveling witch, lifelong monk, and drifter at your service. I'd gladly welcome your company, it's been too logn since my last companion and I parted ways. This dungeon sounds interesting, I'm no cleric but demons shouldn't be too much trouble when you Believe."

 

"Well first things first we need to stop by town." Niceties pointed at the village barely visible in the distance. "There I can gather the missing info about this dungeon although I've raided it before all I know is that it appears every five years only once and it has three demons in it all the time everything else changes about it every time it appears." After walking for a few hours Excalibur and lightning had shown up to meet them in the tavern they were already there they talked with noctis a while. "Thanks man I owe ya one when I get that info you want I'll be sure to get it to ya." "No prob noct you know I'll always help a friend well we'll be off now see ya." "Ok let's go I got a plan I want to explain at the entrance first so we need to hurry before nightfall so we can set up camp." They walked to the outskirts of town when noct stopped and warned them. "Shh there's one demon right below us anyways we need to go in take him out and then go throughout the dungeon all the creatures are easy except one the last guardian which is a necromancer, pyromancer, and voidmancer all in one I'll take care of him that means that I'm counting on you and styani hear to take care of everything else honey otherwise I could damage myself if the battle takes too long. Let's get some sleep I'll go in town before we enter and get some healing potions and food and watter this dungeon is a four day raid at the least if everything goes well goodnight everyone I'll see you in the morning."
