One Piece: The best episode so far?

I have to say , one of the best episodes for me has to be the One Piece/Toriko cross over they did. xD

 

Aw the foxy pirates were brilliant haha.

 

I think my favorite episode would have to be the episode where Kuma splits the straw hats to different islands (and the following episodes). Not because I enjoyed seeing Luffy go crazy, but I enjoyed all the emotion that was put into it. It also marked a major change to the anime, and to the characters themselves.

 

The change that episode brought about was amazing i must admit. But what i loved most because of that episode, is getting to see them all , all alone doing training for when they would be re-united

That set of episodes really got to me, I loved seeing them come back like that.
There are two others that I really enjoyed: Luffy punching the Celestial Dragon in the face, and the one shown in the photo below.

I found the foxy pirates bit somewhat irritating. Luffy should learn to quit while he's ahead. And that was a good chance to get a shipright that's HIGHLY experienced. But other than that they were great. Slowslow is one of my favourite fruit. Hopefully when the current arc (water 7 and judicial island) comes to a close he'll get a shipright, but I doubt it since none of those people are in the game.

Hard to pick a best episode. They are all just so awesome! But I'd say my fav ones are the ones that included Ace!

 

But then he wouldn’t be luffy xD

Ha! I love all the buildup to that episode, keeping Luffy out of the fight as long as possible and then BAM... (super spoilers, huehuehue) rubber=immune to electricity. xD

 

Alabasta was the most fun in the dub so far. Enies lobby has the most emotion but isn't completely dubbed yet.

The Great War of the Best will be the most amazing dub section.

 

I've gotten up to episode 154. One Piece has just taken a turn for the worst since they left Alabasta. It's just become a child's show. (I know it is in Shonen Jump). But, before that the premise was exciting, all the different types of pirates were creative. Everyone had a good back story. The fight scenes are some of the best in anime! It just let itself down by dragging out the plot for too long. One Piece would have been better if they reached the grandline after all these 100+ episodes. Really, after the Alabasta arc, they should have reached the grand line, seen Luffy become King of the Pirates and either end it there. Or show us a little of Luffy's reign and maybe how he dies?
