After you configure the set by step settings it will detect when you watch an anime and auto update your list for you. The catch is you have to download your anime in order for this to work. It also works on CrunchyRoll. But lucky for me I do download everything anyways. There's also a multitude of other features and plugins. Series checker, which checks your completed list and informs you of movies, ova or other series form a certain show that you might have missed. A season browser so you can check up on a following season, currently airing schedule so you know when your shows come out and a torrent manager which informs you when shows become available for download.

I'll post some feedback when I play around with it some more.

This is really useful.  I'm really lazy with MAL, and up until a few months ago I didn't use it since I was so lazy.  I managed to update my info once, and now I use this and I don't really have to commit any time anymore to update it.

I have a question though.  Is it possible to stop that window from showing up every time after you start up a video?  It's pretty annoying.

Under the settings in the menu if you go to anime recognition you can set recognition to your currently watching list. And you can set it to not look for unrecognized anime. I think if you want it off altogether you'd have to remove whatever media player you have in the media player application field.
