Get sucked out a spaceship’s airlock its guaranteed death, but with jumping off a cliff you could live and suffer horribly until you die, or live life as a vegetable which i woudnt want either.

Run away from a lion. I have a fighting chance and at least civilization can be near by instead of hoping there is a boat somewhere.
