What are your top 5 favorite voice actors and top 5 voice actresses according to the character they voice?

Crispin Freeman is the best one I ever heard. That guy to me makes any anime worth listening to in a dub. Besides him I like Hilary Haag as well. I'm aware though that most of her roles sometimes fall in "hit or miss" scenarios but to me I can always grow accustom to her voice over time. I think this is most prevalent in Chrono Crusade where in the beginning she sound annoying but towards the end really starts to suit the heroine's role perfectly (I think so anyway)

There are others but I need some time to think on them.

 

I dont know any dub VA's actually so i cant judge on that.

From subs my favorite is Zoro's actor Kazuya Nakai.

I don't really pay attention to the names of voice actors, but I have noticed the same voice actor was used in several anime that I've recently watched, including Kokoro Connect and the more recent devil Survivor 2 (at least, I'm pretty sure that they're the same voice actor). . . . I looked it up, and the voice actor is Miyuki Sawashiro.

I also Like the voice actor of Usopp (Kappei Yamaguchi) and Zoro (Kazuya Nakai).

After number 1 the rest are in no particular order. There are also many more amazing voice actors, and except for half my list, the rest I had to look up.It's also amazing that only about 100 people give or take cover almost all main roles in english dubbed anime. I also want to mention that I thought before I heard the dub version of Franky in One Piece that David Lodge would be the perfect VA for him, but Patrick Seitz (also does Kenpachi in ep 244+) has such a similar voice that it didn't bother me when I heard it.

One last thing, if you haven't done it before, go look up characters in anime and find their English VA, then look at all the stuff they've done, it's amazing.For example, Steve Blum does the voice of Leeron in Gurren Lagann, so different from Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop.

I'll stop there, I could talk about voice actors all day if I had the time.

 

Steve Blum. His voice is like honey over bread. He can make any character awesome just by talking.
Lucy Christian is wonderful, as well.

I'll be honest, I can't tell the difference for almost all of the Japanese VAs.
