Have You Ever Wanted to Make Your Own Manga?

Have you ever wished/started/Made your own Manga?

If so, what would yours be about?

Anyway, that would be kind of cool though... Having a touch of different genres onto the main genre...

 

Iv'e thought about this from time to time. It'll never happen though because I have zero artistic skill. Can't even draw decent stick figures. Will say I think my idea would be very unique. I'd like to write one based upon Rally Racing. Clearly this would cater to only a small audience. Maybe I could pull off a novel but not a manga.

I would base a lot of information off real areas, tracks, events, cars, maybe some drivers & co-drivers. That way not only would it draw in people who are already Rally fans, but it would also introduce the reader to the world of Rally Racing. The themes i'd gun for would undoubtedly be suspense, action-packed moments, drama, and heartfelt dreams. Hell I may even throw in a little romance although that idea is now only just entering my mind. Can't really post what all I am thinking because I'm always changing up my thought process. If I should ever get serious about it i'll get back to you on it. Lastly great topic for discussion @Kaede.

 

Back in high school when I was at the peak of weeaboodom, I wanted to draw it. Then I realized that I was a shit drawer and couldn't even draw hair or eyes right.

So yes. I've dreamed of making my own series, but I'm more of a storyteller than an illustrator

 

I did at one point, but I'm not good at drawing. I don't remember what it was going to be about either. Ll but I may start writing a play again that would be based on what my manga would be about.

I had one in mind for quite some time: "Silver and Steele"

It is set in a different universe.
The main male character is a strange android by the name of Core Deadeye (I made my username off of him, so I'm not trying to inject myself as the MC), and the main female character is an android constructed by an elite police/military force named Exa Victoria.
Core Deadeye is trying to find out his past, since his memory has been erased/locked. He ends up saving a girl by the name of Rose (who called him Deadeye after seeing him use his pistols on her attackers) . Deadeye has a poor fighting skill, but can quickly learn techniques, and regularily hacks government computers for the best, most refined techniques. Exa attacks him, but is saved (thanks to Rose) by an elite team of criminals that work for a large, giant company of questionable purposes, known as Crim-tek.
As time progresses, Exa and Deadeye and there respective organizations have to work together to eliminate a threat. Eventually, the threats gets eliminated, but Deadeye and his team sacrifices themselves to end the threat. Exa is the sole survivor.
But it does not end. The threat is still out there... (NOTE: Deadeye does not find his memory)

Had to be ambiguous, since if I do make it, I want to have surprises.
It was to include action, sci-fi, some romance, hopefully comedy.

The other was a romance, partially based in the way of Cat Planet Cuties (only in the fact the heroine came from space for government reasons), Ah! My Goddess!, and one other... Tenchi Muyo series I think, can't remember why though. That is one I want to do, but I can't think of a proper plot or start, except that there is a mix-up in and the two main characters end up stuck purchasing the same house (how to orchestrate that, I have no idea).

 

I have thought about it, I have a huge imagination myself and I've got crazy ideas for that story, not sharing since I like to keep this story in my mind

ok well.... my idea was for a bleach style manga where when a child is born they are given a special book what lets them enter a different world and tghe book truns into a sword by learning how to weld it

I've always wanted to make my own story. I have the typical case though, as I suck at drawing. But I've gotten around to writing up some of my ideas.

I've thought of my own baseball anime; which is essentially more about the characters than the sport itself. Think Kuroko no Basket, but not as crazy. It's light on the drama, so it's an anime for baseball fans who want to experience the game from a different angle.

I've also thought of an anime that centers around a bunch of struggling college students and it's called "The Golden Door." The story would follow each student, one by one, as their struggles come to the surface. The only thing connecting them is a fellow student named Hajime, who is called "The Guy" around campus, as he is "the guy" to get any information you want [mostly info for tests so students could cheat]. These particular students come to him with rather strange requests however...

aaaand that's all im gonna say for now. If I spit all my ideas on this post it would take forever xD

 

Well, I have had many ideas, but right now I am going to help my Cousin, he is thinking about a web comic, he has the story and many hand drawn character designs, so I'll give you his email address if you are interested in reading the story, just message me.

The manga I had in mind would be " loli 911"

In this manga its basically a comedy / slice of life /action about the whole lands emergency services are lolis, can barley drive nor fit into the right clothes after all adults suddenly vanished over night.

Its comedic, for example they try to put out fires but cant handle the hose so they simply just fly around screaming
Its action, because they would be cops to, so there is a lot that can happen.

Not to sure on anything else, but this was the general theme i had in mind.

 

I always wanted to draw my own manga/ comic book, but I lost the ability to draw when I developed Rheumatoid Arthritis in both my hands. My dreams were shattered.

 

I am actually just now starting to work on one. I'm a fairly decent artist in my own opinion. I've had several people tell me that I've got a knack for it.

I have already started creating the story too.

It revolves around a world called Alyssia. Everything that happens in Alyssia and all that goodness. The story revolves around a group of characters who's relation to one another is bound by the singular desire to free their world from the grips of destruction. I would require several hours to tell you all everything. It's just way too big. I spent 8 months piecing this story together starting from the ground up. I have my own pantheon and creation story that is unique and yet has elements that correlate to modern creationist theories, ect.

I think there was a tab where I could post all of this? But I don't remember where it is.
