    Monday's late question: What was the last anime you watched that had a happy ending yet you think it's a sad ending?

    I realize it may be unclear, so I guess to put it a different way: a sad ending, but you had the impression they wanted to do a good ending (or both sad and good).


    I watched Charlotte this weekend, I'm pretty sure they wanted it to be a happy ending, but I thought it was mostly sad.

    monday: well the most recent anime that i finished was Love Live and it has that kind of feel to it. we know that they got the champion slot but we know they can not compete again as a group due to some of the members graduating. but if i have to be technical about the criteria that you gave, the most valid anime that i can think of would be Tari Tari. the ending left you a sad feels due to the ... ugghh i cant say much without spoiling! well there.
