The official website for the Assassination Classroom television anime series began streaming a countdown promotional video on Wednesday. The video previews the final three episodes of the anime. The anime's 23rd episode, "Rasubosu no Jikan" (Time of the Final Boss), will premiere on Fuji TV and Iwate Menkoi TV on Thursday at 25:35 (effectively 1:35 a.m. on Friday).
The second half of the anime's second season premiered with new opening and ending theme songs on April 14. The characters Nagisa (Mai Fuchigami), Kayano (Aya Suzaki), Karma (Nobuhiko Okamoto), Isogai (Ryota Ohsaka), and Maehara (Shintarō Asanuma) are performing the new opening theme song "Bye Bye Yesterday," starting with the 15th episode. Shion Miyawaki is performing the new ending theme song "Mata Kimi ni Aeru Hi" (The Day When I Can Meet You Again).

Docomo's dTV streaming service streamed a second season of the anime's unaired "Extracurricular Lesson" episodes starting on April 29. The first season premiered on March 11 and had four episodes with each episode being five minutes long. The new season also has four episodes.

An interview with the anime's director Seiji Kishi in Weekly Shonen Jump revealed in February that the second season of the main anime will cover the manga's final chapter. The manga ended in the magazine's 16th issue on March 19.

The main anime's second season premiered on January 7, and Funimation is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.

Hmm. I've been a bit slack on this one, even though I really liked it i've only watched a couple of episodes... I guess I might wait till the last episode airs and then marathon it!
