Saddest Anime Death? (Obvious Spoilers)

Yeah it's from the OVAs. They're canon so it goes with the storyline. Just don't be surprised if it sends a few chills up your spine

Yuuki Konno - This is the anime death that made me cry the most. Everything Mother's Rosario built up to, Yuuki's speech about "what was the point of me even being born" and her guilt over all the money, medicine, and time spent to keep her alive was sad enough, then Asuna's crying and Yuuki says how she gets to "die in the arms of someone she loves", Asuna promises to find her one day in heaven and then Yuuki pictures her sister as she fades away. Perfectly done, easily one of the most emotional anime scenes/episodes ever.

Gundam 00

Louise Halevy's entire family - Her entire family massacred at a wedding, Louise survives but is never the same after this.

Christina Sierra and Licht - Feldt's reaction when she realizes Chris knew they were going to die so she lied to Feldt to save her

Lockon Stratos (Neil Dylandy) - again Feldt's reaction gets me everytime

Colonel Sergei Smirnov - killed by his own son over a misunderstanding and leads to Marie reverting back to Soma Peries

Fairy Tail

Ultear Milkovich - okay so technically she didn't die but she's going to soon because of the arc of time spell. After all the bad she did and then the 7 years she spent trying to repent for it she sacrificed herself to set time back but it only went back ONE MINUTE. When she said "my life is only worth one minute" - easily one of the saddest anime moments for me.

Akame ga Kill

Mine - died right after saving Tatsumi in an excellent fight against Budou. One of the best anime episodes ever from start to finish.

Kurome - made even sadder by her being killed by Akame

I'm afraid of even reading anything in this thread. For the brave people who do read this I'll contribute this one. Apologies for repeats, like I said I didn't read anything since the very mention of death in an anime is a spoiler. Death is a certain threshold that certain anime may or may not choose to cross.

Code Geass

Shirley's death was absolutely gut wrenching. I liked Shirley, she gets a bad rap sometimes but her contribution to Lelouch's development was crucial more then the aloof CC and fan service Kallen. It made me hate Rolo to the core and I silently cheered his death, screw that guy. Didn't help at all that he was voiced by the same guy that did Shinji from the Eva anime (No offense to the VA, he's too good at making annoying characters)
