What was the last anime item you bought?

Who is the figurine of? If it's an Anime series, she looks interesting.

 

She is Sakura Matou from the Fate/Stay Night series. Was a awfully hard figure to track down and add to my ever growing collection. Only wish I had the Saber figure from Gift to go along with Sakura, but Saber is even more expensive and difficult to find. Besides I got other Saber figures and Fate/Stay figures such as Rin & Archer. So I don't feel I need that particular Saber figure to be in my collection. Still if I should find it at a fair price then who knows I just may be tempted into buying it.

 

Haha! Thank you. I'm yet to finish watching Fate Stay Night. I think I was watching the wrong ones so I stopped.

 

@Kaede your welcome. Now if you wanted a order on how to watch the Fate series here is how I would watch them. I'd start out with Fate/Zero since it takes place I think 5 or so years before Fate/Stay Night. After that watch Fate/Stay Night followed by either the Unlimited Blade Works movie or actual series. Then lastly you have Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya which is it's own story that you can watch whenever. Still you don't have to start out with Fate/Zero and can simply start with Fate/Stay Night. It's just I feel you would gain a better understanding of Fate/Stay Night after having watched Fate/Zero first since it takes place before Fate/Stay Night.

 

Bought a cheap katana awhile back, and heartlessly tore it apart to reconfigure its position. I found that the wooden handle was hollow before the reconfiguration was complete. In the end, it was a crude variant of my goal:

One of these days I need to purchase a digital camera to take some pictures of my collection. Right now I haven't sent out a payment, because Amiami sends you a email notification for the payment once they get their stock in. Then you have to pay the amount along with whatever is determined for shipping. The reason they do that is to get the best shipping price possible. Also since they don't yet have the product they can't determine a exact shipping cost unless they went with a premium shipping option. So yeah guess I gotta promise to take a picture once it arrives. Which from my personal experience will mean December of next year at the earliest. Curses for not having to send payment yet.

Totally agree with you. I really want to see Alex and Nicolas introduced later. Still I was very surprised to even see this done. For as short a series as it was, topped with Manglobe going bankrupt i'd never have seen this coming. Still maybe I should have since the manga is continue onward titled Gangsta: Cursed. Once it gets translated i'll begin buying the volumes since I already purchased the first 6. It's a story I got to continue with.

Iv'e personally never had any run in with bootlegs (thank heavens), but your guide provides a very well in depth look for people looking to start collecting or just simply finding that one specific item. Would have loved to of came across your guide when I started out. Can recall long hours of reading reviews, searching through sites, contacting said sites with questions, and the list goes on.

Now for the most part I'm a frequent customer of Ami, at least when it comes to figures. Your Lie In April Set 2 (finally i'll have the full set), Aldnoah Zero Limited Edition Blu-ray Sets 1-2 (holding off on the 3-4 for now), and some manga. The manga are Gothic Sports (read first volume online got hooked), another two volumes of Vinland Saga, and the 5th Noval of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Talk about a expensive order. Thankfully I saved with their membership and the use of a promo code for 5% off my order I got for leaving 5 detailed reviews on items iv'e purchased. Nothing like the sweet sound of savings.

By default, the Apparel set comes with the right-most bag, the wig, and shoes. The other left two items were extras I ordered (a shirt and jacket).

Congratulations @Kiri. Just love when stuff comes sooner than expected. Got to say that's at least a 1/4 scale if not a 1/3 scale. It just towers over everything else. Should submit that image of your smart doll in the bag to MFC. I think it stands a chance of making it to their pictures of the day. It really is a cute picture.

I didn't buy this but a friend recently bought mii the second Manga book of Claymore as an early birthday present. Even though Manga is easy to read, I've already finished it within 6 hours. Nipa! XD

The sad part is that by the time I bought the last volume, they no longer had single volumes, only doubles, so I own volume 37 twice (and my collection goes 35-36-37-19).

UQ Holder is the sequel to Negima.

The travel name tag came with the books (quite useful at the time).

And a friend of mine bought a ton of light novels, so he gave me one of the free bookmarks he got. It's Spice and Wolf on a side and sao on the other.
It was a promo for their release in French, but I already owned S&W in English (and theyreonly at volume 2 right now).
