Objective: Determine Kaedes needed to construct 'The Mass.'


NOTES:
-The sun's diameter is 865,373.7 miles.
-Earth to sun distance is 92.96 million miles.
-The moon is 238,900 miles away.
-Low Earth Orbit is below 1,243.7 miles.
*Orbit fails if air resistance occurs.
-Medium Earth Orbit ranges from 1243.7 miles to 35,786 miles
-High Earth Orbit is beyond M.E.O. I am unsure of farthest reach.
*The moon will not be reliable for basing H.E.O. range range, since it has a significant amount of its own gravity.
-Earth diameter is 7,917.5 miles from pole to pole. Might be crooked (the poles), but Earth is round.
-Kaede's length, height and width are equal to X, Y and Z respectively.
*We will not go off of 'vital statistics.'
*Kaede's weight could help determine the amount of area she takes up, but it is uncertain what her fat/muscle/bone/etc. ratio is.
I assume fat is not high on her ratio, judging from what I know/saw.

Work/Reasoning
It depends on what the orbit of 'The Mass' will be. If we set its orbit range to 238,900 miles, then the cubic mile volume would have to be 542,771,799,099.19 cubic miles, at 10,120.528 miles for the diameter. This was figured by drawing two lines from the diameters of the Sun and Earth (N pole to N pole and S pole to S pole), and creating a sphere that is tangent to the two drawn lines.
Theoretically, this is would be the requirement for a total eclipse, and what my calculations aim for. Also, I am calculating distances by center to center. Possibly a mistake there, but still close enough.
If the mass were directly on the surface, a minimal size equal to the the earth's volume and diameter would be required for the total eclipse. Refer to notes for that size.
As for Kaede count, that will be impossibly without knowing her volume, or even her length, width and height (something that we will treat as a boxlike shape for simplicity). But even if we knew the amount of Kaedes needed to construct the Mass, the Mass will eventually generate its own gravity well, and that will lead to the compression of the Kaedes towards the center of the mass. There is possible decompression for the early placement Kaedes, thanks to the vacuum. The count needed to comply with the proper volume and size of the mass would be difficult, unless calculations could be made to account for this. Of course, we can consider the Kaedes to be non-dynamic objects, unchanging in size under any condition. But limbs would create empty spaces, in that event.
So in short, the size needs to equal at least the diameter to earth to the diameter of the sun, depending on orbit range. If orbit remains solely within the Earth's orbit, then it will mos certainly be smaller than the Sun. If it is as far as the moon, you will need the Mass to be 10,120.528 miles in diameter.
As for the ultimate answer, to the amount of Kaedes needed, this shall my answer be:

Throughout the day, we break up into small groups and do music practice but then on Thursday night, we play as a massive group. Except, I have no idea how to read sheet music. Haha!
