I didn't ignore your answer. More efficient execution of the law is all well and good, but I can't help but feel that our current laws have failed us.

I have to say that I whole-heartedly disagree with you, but I feel that this discussion is more fruitful than where the conversation was heading.

For your question about the ranges, no they were not corrected. I became more comfortable with correcting people after my military training and did so on a few occasions. But I've never, outside of my time in the military, seen someone corrected on a range, hunt, or otherwise.

I believe that influences from social media, movies, video games, even child abuse and anything else you can think of triggers disorders in people that gives them the need for violence, in particular, murder. I know this is a serious matter and shouldn't use anime references in this. However, this is based on a true story.

At the time that Higurashi and school days were being aird, A few murders were conducted by young girls. However, these murders were so alike as to the anime, the airing of these animes were canceled and was replaced with a cooking show. aAnother example was a 17 year old boy who killed someone just to see how it felt like and to see the differences fom reality killing to the virtual killing.
My opinion is that sometimes they can be born killers or they become killers by influence.
