Nope no peace in here only the chaos that was once last person

 

There is no peace for the wicked, so illusionary peace may be all anyone associated with this thread can see.

 

The end of this conflict may be an illusion but the means to get to it isn't, with that being said let us enjoy this madness once more.

 

This forum is as real as any of our social lives, wait....

Yeah. Haven't posted a lot these last few days so I have some catching up to do.

 

I see, I kind of noticed that but then again it is harder when no one responds to you.

So in your sleep deprived state I'll help ya catch up by posting replies for some threads.

 

I probably responded in more threads than I normally would. Simply because the forums have seemed kind of slow lately.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure if it is the lack of new members or if some of us regulars have had enough of the forum experience, maybe they just haven't really gotten use to the new forum yet I don't know.

Although I do personally think having a skype group chat is also partly responsible since before that everyone had to post in the forum for communication, not that I'm complaining about it.

It's not the communities skype chat. We've been having some really slow activity there too. Only about 800 messages a day instead of 1000 an hour. Plus, JustDubs had a chat on the site, while our Skype chat was more active, and the forums activity didn't seem to be affected. I think its a combination of the former. No new members since the streaming site was what used to bring new blood into the forum. And some older members just don't like the layout here. I know it personally took me awhile to adjust.

 

Yeah the layout does take some adjusting to get use to, I think I'm mostly fine with it now but I do still miss a lot of posts in threads that I'm not directly linked to. Any updates in my club I see but in general or other anime chat sections I keep missing since I don't often use the activity tab.
I'd believe that it is also related to the minimal new members joining, we've actually had a few which is a bit surprising but not many stick around and they don't even try to introduce themselves or even take this thread as I did when I first joined.

Oh so even the chat has been decreasing lately, I haven't really realised since I'm only on at weird times for most of you anyway. I know I cause a bit of discussion since I do use it to hold conversation like it is meant to, most recent it happened to start by a conversation about H and rape.

 

Yeah I don't use the activity tab either. I find it more time consuming since it shows everyones recent post to everything. Instead of just showing you the updated threads and letting you choose for yourself to view it.

 

That is part of my reasoning, the second part of it is that spoiler tags don't work in that view so essentially it is filled with spoilers that may or may not affect you. So with that in mind I basically avoid it like the plague.
