    I thought I was chasing a runaway cart, not a truck.

    Just leave me here to die. The Tsundember game has me embarrassed enough, considering nobody made a vote for my nomination. Not even me. Oh well, I was only making nominations based off of the anime I had seen, which did not give me very many tsundere candidates.

    I remember nominating a very obscure nominee the year before last, Ririchiyo if memory serves, but she was destroyed in the first round because she was pit against Misaka. Rather unfortunated, really. So don't feel bad, we've all been there.

    But would you consider Houki Shononono from Infinite Stratos obscure? I am not sure what people think, but Supernatural Knight pummeled my nomination by commenting that he would easily vote for the Snow Fairy Sugar nomination, since my nomination was from a bland harem series. Unfortunately for my nomination, I actually agreed and voted against my nomination.

    For the most part, the story to Infinite Stratos is cursed with a male protagonist that is clueless to the girls' feelings, and the second season did very little to actually add to the story, and leaves you hanging more than the first season did. If there is one thing I hate, it would be an inconclusive series

    The light novels would provide more info, but they have not been dejapped yet.

    That was just a similar example. But yes, Knight can be a little unforgiving; very much the anime critic. And there's always those various loathed tropes, and harems are one of the most despised. It gets to the point where people will automatically hate an anime on instinct just because it falls within the same category of something they dislike. Sad, but true.

    That said, that particular anime doesn't do well to escape that trope, if memory serves. And that chararcter isn't particularly popular within said anime. So I can see why she failed. I was just saying that everyone has their own personal favorites that they like to recommend, but fail to realize the obviousness of their downfall. Mine was picking a character no-one would know to vote for, and it seems you picked someone from a despised anime. Similar result, I'm afraid. But those are, in every sense, popularity contests and that should be expected.

    I personally laid off the contests (which, truth be told, was my original lure to the forums) because I'd get far too upset when someone too generic would win out over all.

    I do not really care for the harem type. I prefer romance. I decided to give it a try Infinite Stratos, since I thought that there would have been more to it. There was not.
    I guess what was worse than having my nomination ground into the... ground was how 2 people liked what was said to grind the nomination.
    I can imagine the dissapointment of having a favorite character lose. If the right Elimination game comes, I would nominate Bell Dandy form "Ahh! My Goddess!", but I would fear to have her lose, considering she is my favorite female anime character that I know.

    I probably wouldn't mind jumping back into the game. I just can't stand for injustice as with most cases in that dark corner of the forums. Though I'll most likely be crawling back to the Asylum, complaining loudly, if some unintelligent walking-trope wins again.
