Opinion on Same-Sex Marriage?

Side note: I'm pretty sure I could come up with some sort of argument that cabbage existing is immoral rather than amoral.

You've pretty much got the same idea I have. Not exactly all for it as well as not really choosing a side in the matter either. As long as people don't enforce their relationships upon others or go around, shoving it up in other people's faces, it shouldn't be a bother.

 

People should be allowed to express themselves freely. If that's what they want, so be it. If they are happy and content with their life, let them be. You wouldn't want someone coming in and taking your happiness away from you. That's really all same-sex couples want, to be happy and to share their life with their partners.

Personally I think if two consenting adults wants to get married let them its not affecting me one way or the other and I am far to busy with my life to tell how others should live theirs. Just don't come over and stuff it down my throat that goes for hetero's and homosexual's.

What I can absolutely not stand about this debate is the online crusaders from both sides trying to ruin people's lives who don't agree with them.

The LGBT say they are being oppress because someone is telling them they cant get married and if you dare to have a different opinion on the subject your a bigot.

The Religious side say they are oppress because they are force to let the LGBT get married and if you don't agree with them your a sinner going to hell.

I find that the LGBT & religion on the subject above are 2 pea's in a pod. To me they both are going out of their ways to somehow undermine the others right to an opinion and right to express that opinion because god forbid if you do express it you screwed from either sides.
What ever happened to let bygones be bygones? or you do your thing ill do mind and who cares about the rest....

Yup, I always feel like i am the only one who feels like this when I talk to my friends err who am i kidding I have no friends... let me rephrase I always feel when I go on a rant about this people either think I am a homophobic or a an ANTI-Christ.... there can never be a medium.....

I get what you mean though. Some people think that opinions about this topic are anti Christian or some even go as far as calling it Satanism. As long as your opinions isn't influencing anyone, there is nothing bad about it. You are just you. NIPAH! XD

I agree with you on same-sex marriage. I am a devout Catholic (and by the way not a bigot!), and I believe that same-sex unions are wrong, but I cannot judge them because, as all of us are, I am a sinner and therefore force condemnation on myself! Instead, I pray for them and show them love and respect like Jesus would!!
