Just a quick thread to bring more awareness of the Humble Indie Bundle (and other humble-related bundles) to others on the forum. It's essentially a pay-what-you-want bundle of indie games. You can choose where your money goes too. It can do to the devs, the charity or the site. Currently it has a pretty damn good bundle for sale, with games like Hotline Miami (if you pay more than the average) and Awesomenauts being the stand outs.

On a side note, there is also the Humble Weekly Sale, which is the same idea but as you can guess it's on a weekly basis. Currently there's a Serious Sam collection going on.

I just bought Humble Bundle 8 a couple days ago, and it's great. I wish you could buy the previous one's for like $20, I missed out on the others and missed a lot of good games, but would never be able to afford everything at full price that was in 1-7. It's also amazing that if you spend more than a dollar you get the steam versions, and if you spend more than the average amount, you get more games.

Humble Bundle 8 is great, 11 indie games DRM free and Steam versions (as long as you pay more than the average, which right now is $5.48) plus most of the games soundtracks.

The good thing is that a lot of indie games run on slower computers/laptops, so people who don't have an expensive computer can still play these games without much hassle and can pay as little as a penny (though you should really spend at least $5, still really cheap) and get some amazing games.

There's a new Deep Silver bundle up. You get Saints Row 3, Saints Row 2, Risen 2, and Sacred 2. If you beat the average you get all the Saints Row 3 DLC, and Dead Island.

    Awesome bundle, I recommend it.
