As an avid LP user I really dont like this.
Log Me In doesnt have the best track record.
They also have no free option and I fear they would take that away from LP.

That's my 2 cents. What are yours???

I used Log Me In, well... several years ago. It was free then. The free version however did have a limit on devices though, and it had a pop-up saying it was a non-commercial version upon closing the remote session. While it did allow me to remotely connect to one of my computers from any PC I was logged into, it was nothing more than a restricted version of Remote Desktop Connection, confined to a web-browser. To this day, I still prefer the look and feel of Window's Remote Desktop Connection.

Also, many browsers offer to save passwords, and even sync them (for free I might add). FireFox does it, Chrome does it, and they're encrypted. It's less stuff I have to use. LastPass, under LogMeIn, wants $12 per year (and there is no incentive to pay $120 every 10 years, other than you don't have to pay again until 10 years later) so you can sync across devices.

That said, it does put LogMeIn into a tight spot if they want to compete with the ease of use of browsers like Chrome and FireFox which is capable of syncing passwords and encrypting them. Most browsers already do what LastPass does, other than generate a new password. Additional features of LastPass require payment, such as syncing. If they're going to compete with the browser's ability to store and sync passwords, syncing needs to be free for LastPass (free) users. It would be a very bad idea for them to go full paid-service only for LastPass; I think that would kill any chance of keeping the remaining LastPass members that decided stick with the product after LogMeIn's purchase of LastPass.

    Personally I use TeamViewer
The free version does what I need it to and I can connect to multiple PCs
But I agree with your last statement, the main point I use LP for is bc I can pull my PWs from any browser with LP installed and generate secure PWs.

Yeah, I used TeamViewer as well. Since it feels so much like the Remote Desktop Connection when you're in a remote session, it's easy to get used to. I actually remotely controlled a friends computer because she was having some issues with it, which she had TeamViewer and that's how I found out about TeamViewer. I forgot what the issue was though, it was 3 or 4 years ago, but the fact you can actually log in and add a computer to your list is great, which allows you to see if the computer is online or not. It's even better because they have a "rescue" type version, which you just can run without installing, so you can still get remote support without being required to install it. If I remember right, Microsoft's Technical Support actually used that when I had problems with Windows Store downloading Windows 8.1 update, but never installing it and just repeating the cycle without any kind of error code or warning. They have the enterprise version of course and they had me download a rescue version that connected me directly to the agent I was talking with.
