Once again i'm clueless and i probably won't visit the site again untill the next round. Atleast we have 2 main mecha characters i suppose.

 

and so once again The all knowing great Metazoxan shall save the day! jk

okay first I guess I'll start with the RahXephon. While it was close enough to count for the competition rather than calling it a mecha a golem (they are in fact called Dolem in the show) is a bit more accurate. Additionally it appears to be a living thing to some extent and bleeds or at least enemies did. This thing has next to no weapons besides besides it's sonic wave like attack however this attack is powerful enough to wipe out an entire area so in a way it's enough of a weapon on it's own. It also has an ultimate ability to "Re-tune the world" or in other worlds rewrite the past to change the present to however the pilot desires although he needed some help to use this ability properly.

Now for the Strain. To be exact though it's spellede Str.A.In which is short for (Strategic Armored Infantry). The Strain are considered black box technology which basically means even the people using the damn things don't really know how they work. Also in order to pilot one you need a device made using brain cells taken at birth. One cannot be made later on in life since such a process would kill you at that point so if one's device is broken for any reason they cannot pilot one. This makes them the elite of the Elite fighters used in the war against the Deague. The stain units are all extremely fast and agile and the device mentioned before allows them to be controlled mostly by thought allowing faster and more precise control then if you had to reach for buttons. Besides that though they are pretty much normal mechs and even the main characters just has a really big arm and somewhat higher performance than a standard one and the Main villain's who's mech I sorta used as a represantative is the same. It's power and maneuverability can be said to be better than say an average gundam but again besides that I don't recall any of them having any abilities or weapons that stood out.


So while it's not exactly Mechanical and thus questionable if it's even a true mecha I'm going with the RahXephon for it's uniqueness.

Yeah I think I ended up nominating a third to a half of the nominees because we REALLY needed to get moving and I only nominated ones I at least knew.

Finally one i know. Well know, i know the anime it's from. I have so much trouble remembering mecha's. The name Lancelot, that much i can remember. I had to search who pilots it, it's Suzaku, and after that memories started coming back of the mecha. So i'm not rly voting for Lancelot, more voting for Suzaku, but that's my lack of interest for mecha's, so don't take it out on the robot.

As for the previous round, @Metazoxan , thanks for the info. I found it hard picking the better option as both seem to have positive and negative things about them in controlling them. I can totally find myself in RahXephon winning the round, though Str.A.In as you said it looks pretty cool.

 

I think part of the problem was it' kinda hard to nominate Mecha. The idea is cool which is why it got votes but picking what Mecha to nominate is hard really.


Okay I don't think I really need to explain Lancelot so I'll just do the Liger. The Liger Zero is a zoid which is a pilotable robot beast but this one is more special than most. First of all it has an A.I. that can actually think and act on it's own which makes it hard to pilot unless you can find someone who's way of thinking is compatible with its. The reason for it's A.I. is because he's actually a sort of lost technology type of zoid called an "Ultimate X". and while that name is clearly meant to excite 10 year olds what it means is it's powerful A.I. is good and learning and predicting moves.

As for weapons the Liger's base for comes with a few basic guns and canons which can do some damage although his signature attack is the Lazer Claw which basically allows his claws to tear through metal like butter. You can theoretically equip any weapon on the Liger Zero even giant canons but I'll just focus on ones he commonly uses. He also has other armors he can easily equip.

One is a Blade for that has several energy blades on it making it impossible to fight at close range unless you can stop or destroy the blades themselves. He can also use them all at once with a speed booster to make the entire mecha like a giant bullet.

His second form is a speed one that has no extra weapons that his base form doesn't but he has extra boosters capable of easily breaking the sound berrier and is able to destroy enemies just from the shock wave and wind caused by his running by them.

His last form is basically a tank with enough armor to take a barrage of enemy fire while taking little actual damage and enough fire power to incinerate an entire army of mecha in seconds by himself. This form is somewhat flawed though because like a tank it's very slow and the armor is SO thick that the mecha inside tends to over heat is the battle lasts too long.

He also has other forms like if you count Zoids Fuzors he has a flying mode called the Liger Zero Phoenix and in the "Lore" for the franchise there are a ton of models. But his first and main apperance was in Zoids Chaotic Centurey so I focused on that one.

Besides we all know Lancelot was only nominated because Guren couldn't be.

 

I nominated lancelot because it's my favourite Mecha, I couldn't care less about Guren.

Sorry never saw the ORIGINAL gundam. But yeah according to the Wiki that in the main character's gundam of the original gundam series.
