Current and Upcoming AVI/Sig Themes

My avi has long hair not quite as long as Mushanokouji, Iwai though...

 

xF out-of-the-box does not support animated .gif images on posts. Crazy and I modified how images are handled on post to get animations to work for the most part. With that said, we're still at the mercy of xF's .gif engine, which normally is only used on a member's profile page. If the animated .gif AVI works on the profile page, then it should work on post. I've noticed 200x200 and smaller file sized animated .gif images have a higher success rate, but some just don't work.

 

Oh, okay. When I checked the other day, there weren't anya themes. I'll look around tonight.

 

xD now there is a textual change going to happen for the avatar change module.
i swear i read it as "at least 200x200" so there i used a bigger file to get most of its quality.

any gif maker sites you can recommend so that i can make my own rather than browsing the net?

@sk thanks for the tag now this will be handy for those wanting to have gif avatars as well.

 

No problem and I may have adjusted my AVI to prove to a certain someone that the .gifs were still working, but I was too lazy at the time to resize it.

The uploader will suggest a minimum of 200x200 as this is the largest sized used on the forum. If an images is larger than 200x200, then it will get resized. For static images, this simply makes it smaller and making it easier to load across the forum. For animated images though, the resizing makes the image static. If, however, the image is 200x200 or smaller, and is not a large file size, the image gets uploaded as-is, remaining animated. Maybe I should make a thread to help those that want to upload animated AVIs, so it's not buried in this club.

making a thread in this club about a "how to gif" will be helpful. we will just route members to that thread. i have thought about making a thread at site discussion section but then i thought its too mundane for that kind of attention.

Decided not to do a gif, it would have ended up boring, I wanted a transition between the 2 images, but I figured I could do the same with fading the layers, looks better anyway.

I took next weeks "time" theme both literally and figuratively at the same time! I was up till 4am doing this, its pretty I think! I figured I would post this now becasue you know, I am SUPER active on the forums and all, lol

I was actually looking for an idea to make something and I always know what group to look to for an idea, so, thanks <3. This wont be my sig or anything (obviously by the dimensions) I just though I would share what the inspiration created. Till I stop by next time....or am summoned (plz bring blood kthx)

Announcement:
There's been poor turn out from this club for several weeks now. So, this week's theme is whatever one want, but members must post here what they choose to go with. This is so I can tell who is till active and who is not.

So, here's my AVI:

Yeah, sorry for lack of activity, blame it on my piling uni stuff and that I needed to help my parents with moving everything out of our (not ours anymore) house.
So, theme nominations based on that; "study" and "work."
Also, how about "superpowers" (went to a RP night the other week, superhero testing facility), "treasure/treasure hunters," "nature," "technology," "magic," "astronomy (like, anything involving space)," "spies," "psychics," "elements (like, manipulators of them)," "scientists"?

Anyaway, felt like Hanekawa again.

 

Suggestions.... "colourful," "space," i.e. stars/planets/other celestial bodies etc, maybe emotion themes like "anger" or "sadness"? "technology," "food/cooking," "books/reading/writing," "art/drawing"

Went with Hanekawa partly because @Mafiacow wanted to do the matching coupley thing, but also because she's amazing.
