What Games Are You Currently Playing?

Alrighty, got to the end of Prime 2 then remembered how this was one of those "hardest video game bosses" and just said screw it, I'm done. Back to Prime 1, I need more Metroid.

Gotten really far in Persona 4, towards the tail end of the game now. It gets easier as I expected. Oh and now I see where the Midnight Channel name comes from. It's a crucial part of this game.

I got a new favorite game, anyone play Crusader Kings 2? Mess up medieval Europe and control it's destiny with a dynasty of your choosing. Good stuff. Declaring endless crusades against the Muslims for the sole purpose of land is awesome. Then losing all that land by endless Jihad is awesome too. Then watch as they blob out of control with 50K doomstack troops and realize I need to run away from the Middle East because my evil uncle from the Holy Roman Empire wants to murder me for the throne of Germany. Yeah screw that guy. Screw the doomstack army too.

 

Far-cry4. Sword art online hollow fragment, and One Piece Red World....

Still some Destiny in there, somewhere.

Dragon Age Inquisition is 100% on my xbox now. All complete and fancy. DLC can't come any sooner. Might play my elf chick next.

I didn't think that the Legend of Zelda could get any more awesome, and then it did. =P

 

I recently finished the Campaign for Watch_Dogs (Christmas gift). Overall, I liked how the story was, and the ending wasn't bad. Enough closure to make me happy, but open enough for a second game to be made, either continuing Aden's story, or a new city all together. I will say though, and those that chat with me daily will know this as well, the driving mechanics in the game are horrible. Handling is poor at best. As a result, driving related missions that require you to take down an enemy vehicle are difficult at best. Most the time you'll end up destroying your own vehicle before theirs with all the stuff you run into. Heavy vehicles are better in the handling department, but are not good for the getaway after a takedown. I will say the motorcycles are by far the easiest to move around with, but can't inflict damage for takedowns. Anyways, the game's major focus is in hacking, which I found overall good. I can stealthily take out enemies with an assortment of hacks and not have to resort to an all out gun fight, though that can be an option if one chooses. I can easily gather bank info from passerbys, even during missions, to help fund all the stuff I need. One thing that stuck me odd is there's a meter that shows how the citizens view you, of which you should aim for "Vigilante". It goes down if you harm citizens, such as hitting them with a car as you try to take a corner with a vehicle that has horrible handling, but the odd thing is I can ram into as may cars as I want, to the point of setting a civilian's vehicle on fire, without this meter being effected. I guess the citizens don't care if I reduce their cars to a burning heap of rubber and metal, but if I so much as tap a pedestrian with my bike, I get hit with a detractor.

Im loving every second, the environment detail is unreal, i just end up exploring and looking at wildlife, the scerany is so brilliant,m and then you have Ellie, that little girl, who pulls her own weight, ah the bonding in this game I like!, it has everything, action, tears, emotion, panic, beauty! mm​

I'm jumping between a few games whilst I wait for Evolve to release in February. Right now it's LittleBigPlanet 3. Pretty similar to the previous games, but fans of the series will appreciate the changes they have made.

 

Been jumping between Grand Theft Auto 5 and Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition. I'm liking GTA5 much more then I thought I would (go so far as to say that it's one of the best games to come out recently) and has enough content to make it worth the 60 dollar price tag. Hell, I've had it for two weeks and I still have yet to actually beat the main game. Really wish I had my own internet connection. Then I could play the online.

As for Borderlands 2, I can't put my finger on why I like it so much more then the first one. The first one I thought was just okay at best and was completely dull when played alone. Borderlands 2 I have just as much fun playing alone as I do with my brother, and it's almost exactly the same game. I dunno, maybe it's because it has more in it? Anyway we made the mistake of starting one of the DLC quests kind of early, so we are still in the beginning of the game.

 

I could only bring myself to play this game with my brother. At least it's easy to pick up and play at anytime.

Been playing through a bunch of different games lately, but mainly Diablo III for some reason (even though I never much cared for the Act V content). I've come to really enjoy Adventure Mode though and the new difficulty scaling system in the expansion.

>Elite: Dangerous (not the greatest space sim in the world but it has lots of potential if the devs keep updating it)
>League of Legends (never stop playing - Vayne and Mantheon forevurrrr)

War Thunder: when you've got a full squad of people to play with including youtubers who get their stuff hosted by the developers themselves and who just so happen to have immaculate, documentary narrator voices there aren't many better WW2 tank or aircraft games out there.

Kerbal Space Program: I have no idea what I'm doing in this other than launching green people into space never to be seen again.

Metro 2033 Redux: there aren't enough games like this.

If my computer wasn't a potato I would play this more but I guess I'm stuck with World of Tanks.

 

@Nimander You totally should bro, then we can play together. I just got back into WoW the other day too. Yeesh, that's like 6 games at a time I'm now playing... lol

Anyway if you've had a previous WoW account it's already been upgraded to Pandaria for free. You just need to buy the latest expansion, which also comes with a free level 90 character boost (if you want to use it).

 

So I "beat" Persona 4. I don't spoil here, anyone who played it will get what I'm saying.
I knew the game was trying to troll me with it's endings. I saw the true culprit and avoided the trap ending early on. My guess on who the true culprit was right on the money! I just knew it, it's not the game's fault, it hid it very well. I just got that vibe it was that character the second they were introduced. It's awesome to realize I had it right from that point. Well that's all well and good but then I fell for the trap ending at the end!

I knew something was off end game. I felt like the game was trying to tell me something. There was even a save point before the credits. Really? It was only after I did the end game complete save that I checked the internet to see how I did.
Yep. Missed the true ending.
Nope. Don't have a save anymore.

Well that's okay. I'm a save state scum and I have one before the apparent point of no return
I'll beat this game for real tomorrow. If for whatever reason I can't because true ending requires some kind of super team or whatever then I'm off to look up Youtube.
Great game that I highly recommend. Some annoying things though.
Beginning was way too hard. I needed a guide for level 12! It did no good anyway, the game wasn't complicated or anything, (more or less like Persona 3 portable) you were just severely handicapped with bad equips and Personas. You couldn't even grind properly because you need money to heal and money was scarce!
Instant death before a chance to even attack. Enemy gets a sneak attack on the field, proceeds to spam magic that hit's a party member's weakness granting enemy two attacks. Watch how every enemy gets two attacks before your turn! It's like that level in Final Fantasy Tactics where you have to protect a party member from dying. Problem is he goes first. Second problem? He suicide attacks the boss who counters and kills him.

That's just bogus. Give me a chance at least, not everyone can time hitting shadows in the field first 100% of the time.

 

That's what I heard. The only thing stopping me is that my old wow account is really old, and this computer doesn't have teh disc slot. So old that I forget it. And my old wow disks are lost to time. I'm sure i have a trial or some shit on my current Blizz account though. Would that still work with the boost if I just bought the expansion?

My worst fear is buying the 60$ expansion and then being told to fuck off until i buy everything else.
