Nyanuary 2015 Prediction Bracket

Welcome to the first official JD Prediction Bracket of 2015!



Firstly sorry it has taken so long to start this bracket, that tends to happen when you leave nominations until the last minute.

The elimination game will begin Jan 18th 5pm AEDT. Predictions will end after round one finishes so everyone has time to enter.

Okay, so here's how it works. We will discuss upcoming matches and possible future matches by predicting outcomes with the bracket. We will do our best to try and make a perfect bracket prediction while discussing with each other our reasoning for these predictions. Discussing possible matches that might never happen can tend to be just as fun as discussing the current matches. The bracket will also help by giving everyone a clear image of who is up against who and what person they could be against next.

Perfect bracket submissions will be from right now until round one ends. I may allow extra time depending on the situation. Each correct guess on the bracket will grant you one point. Points will be tallied until the end of the elimination. If you're going for an overall win and perfect pick, you must get every single guess correct and be the first person to submit the perfect bracket! Others will be allowed to submit bracket predictions if they have a late entry but they will not be eligible for a perfect pick. Keep in mind, even if you do enter late you still have a chance to win with over all points.

The following matches of the month will be decided as the days go on and we get further into the bracket.

hahah, that's hilarious.

I'm thinking maybe we should do the award for the March game instead. This way we can hype the award for a proper amount of time first.

 

@Sporadic doing the prize for it in March probably works better since I was forgetting about the competitions we already were running for Jan. I was only rushing it along because I thought first game of the new year before a bit of a break would be a good reason for a prize. But first game back sounds even better. This will also give @Miss Elegent Serenity a whole game's worth of Facebook posts to get use to the schedule considering how daily her last attempt at it was....

 

You gotta understand doing something daily on FB is kind of time consuming though. It's bound to be rocky at times.

 

Lol not to mention I have 2 jobs (looking for a 3rd) and 3 kids to take care of. I couldn't keep up with it last month cause I was also playing nurse to our super admin . If you want them up I need a list per week who vs who so I can keep track that way. I rarely keep up with the brackets and votes as is with my busy schedule, so having a list with

Name vs Name - date you want posted or when it will be up

would be easier for me instead of keeping up with the brackets all the time. I am working on my FB posts now and have been all day. Im working on the days from today up til the last monday of the month. I can throw them in a time slot if need be. Doing it daily is hard for me to keep up on top of my work schedule. Some days I gotta get up, get kids to school and head out. I dont have time to log on to post, evenings can be just as hectic especially since my kids picked up soccer. So sat and sundays are my days I make my FB posts (which I had been slacking on cause well ahem playing nurse @Sporadic lol)
