The Star Wars film has so many continuity problems with the original plot just by looking at the trailer!!

    As for Genisys...

Again, so many plot holes with these sequels!! >_<

As for Mad Max, I never saw the original films...

I'm holding out hope for In the Heart of the Sea. Chris Hemsworth has proven himself to be a darn good actor, and if the film ends up focusing on the human element I think it could be something special.

No love for AoU and Antman?! Unsubscribe!
Somewhere along the line I became a giant Marvel movie fanboy.

waiting for Antman to be a flop. Further proving people will see anything if Marvel slaps their name in front of it.

My main concern about Antman is whether or not they'll be able to make the action scenes substantial. They showed him shrinking then growing while throwing a punch and I'm afraid they won't know what else to do.

It is true. It's the biggest risk yet. I mean you don't lose a director and believe something isn't wrong in the backroom, but then again they've done great work with barely known characters. I expect it to make back all of its budget money at least and get enough positive reviews for a fresh on rotten tomatoes though barely. I mean ASM 2 hovered around the 60% mark on the 50s side and Sony is acting like it's some grand defeat. So I think with those two parameters it will be a success. It might be that it's the weakest in the film lineup especially among first movies, but a genuine Marvel gets shaken to its core, might decide to remove from continuity like the Green Lantern movie, I just don't think it's that bad.
Whether or not I'll like it is another tale.
Granted all we have right now is one trailer which looks solid enough and tales of production woes.

..I kinda hated that Antman trailer. For such a weird character in the Marvel universe, the trailer was pretty boring and generic. It felt like they were trying to mimic Amazing Spider-Man when it should have been taking inspiration from Guardians of the Galaxy.

... Huh. I never considered Antman weird partially because his power set was one of the first Marvel characters invented, and in terms of characterization, other than having Marvel hero syndrome, he's a pretty normal guy (both Pym and Lang). Also he tends to not be quite as quippy as Spiderman or weirdly archaic like Thor. He truthfully seems like the most white bread Marvel character whose inherent characteristic isn't being the whitest white bread (Captain America, the man who is the moral compass). Add to that the fact that that he's not even the Antman with baggage and Antman seems pretty generic. If he were anymore bog standard from what I've heard, he'd be Reed Richards.
So I'm open to a form of the character that I find interesting (which I hope the movie will be), but I'm not expecting the weird awesomeness that was GotG. It will be tough waiting for Guardians 2, but I think you don't put boring generic mcgenericton in a clown suit and call it a day.
Basically I have no love for the character anyways, so I'm open to seeing what direction they take him. This may sound like I'm dissing a movie I'm sort of excited for, but I'm just dissing the character. If Green Lantern was what the hero involved deserved, it'd be a great film. If Ant-man can make an alright film then it's better than I'd think he deserves.

I think there are far too many of these comic book movies and I just can't get excited by them - that's not to say I won't be watching them when they get to home release.

Now this movie Chappie seems interesting:

I wish Blomkamp would give us a second installment of District 9 - the aliens promised to return in 3 years but it's been 5 now!

@Shogun13 I guess when I say "weird", I'm thinking more about the power and how it will relate to the Avengers universe. It's pretty easy to imagine a fight between Thanos and the Hulk, but Thanos and Ant Man? That would be different, at least. And I'm also in the boat of not really caring about the character, but I think they could capitalize on that. Even in the trailer they mock the character and the name. I think the mix of self-serious and silly that Guardians of the Galaxy went for would befit this film. As opposed to trying to inject a quirkiness that's not dissimilar to Spider-Man. This could be of course what the film is all about, but I didn't get that vibe from the trailer.

Paul Rudd is to comedy as Tom Cruise is to action. Just utterly sub par. Maybe this role change will suit him better.

You say that, but Edge of Tomorrow (Tom Cruise action) is getting on a lot of critic's lists of things that should have performed better and hidden gems. So if you just go by his last movie, your analogy backfires. But on the whole I'm inclined to agree with Tom Cruise.
Well this seems like a not very comedic role so idk.

One film is hardly enough to justify more than a decade of failed action films.

Right, but that analogy leads me to the conclusion that just because you've failed countless times doesn't mean you can't find a winner. Tom Cruise is to action as Paul Rudd is to comedy, Tom Cruise recently found an action hit despite countless failures, Paul Rudd might get lucky too. So the analogy backfires by saying that anyone can fluke a solid part, when you basically meant it to say that crap actors are crap QED.

Well I did say maybe this role change would maybe suit him. I still have some hope at least lol

And to be honest Edge of Tomorrow was alright. Had a good concept.
