Ended Snowman Scavenger Hunt!

We're hosting our first event with a prize since all of the changes we've been doing to the site. The winner of this event will receive a JustDubs T-Shirt of their choice from our merchandise shop!

We will be having a scavenger hunt with the new holiday theme that @Crazy Potato made for us.

Here's how it works:

Crazy placed a snowman in 10 different locations throughout the new 'Jack Frost' theme while it was being created. Each one is marked with a number on their body to indicate their order of placement. Your job is to find them all. Or at least as many as you can. I will give you hints as to where each snowman is located. You will then PM me with the location of each snowman and the first person to find the most will win. You can either take screen shots of each snowmans location or descriptively explain where each is located.



Some of the clues easy, some are hard. We don't want to make this impossible but we do want a few to be obscure enough to make this a challenge. You can work together with others but keep in mind if you do that puts you at a lower likelihood of winning.

Snowman #1 = Located where one's innermost secrets materialize. Beware your shadow self.
Snowman #2 = Behind the grammar nazi's avatar while posting.
Snowman #3 = Behind a director's avatar after their user name is clicked.
Snowman #4 = In a certain place when you highlight a thread name
Snowman #5 = These 'details' might be a little 'personal'
Snowman #6 = Hiding at the bottom of a list.
Snowman #7 = Appears randomly in a signature area. This person has a rotator!
Snowman #8 = In the last Asylum King's profile.
Snowman #9 = In a JustDubs graphic designers profile
Snowman #10 = Even if you change your forum theme it can be overlooked.

This scavenger hunt will only take place on the new Jack Frost theme. The snowmen are not hidden in any other forum theme so don't bother looking anywhere else for them. In order to change your forum theme you can go to the bottom of any page on the forum and click where it says your current forum style. http://puu.sh/dxraR/07e79efaed.jpg from there you will be promoted to change the theme. If you were using the default forum theme then you should already be seeing the new holiday theme as it is set to the forums current default theme.

Well this is a very different idea than the event I had in mind, no matter I think this might be fun. Well here's to everyone having fun, to get the madness started I've found 5 of them already so good luck everyone.

Yeah something a bit more like this, although I was thinking about utilising the rest of the sites capabilities by making people check through the anime titles and possibly even the Facebook page.
This idea however does offer the advantage that if you don't know one of them that you can choose a different number too look for. I like this version as well though.


Well I've found 7 of them and now I'm definitely stuck. 1, 8 and 9 are beyond me for whatever reason. 1 I have no idea and for 8 and 9 every name I think of didn't make the transfer after the original site went down. This will be difficult....

 

Currently we are not accepting any things like this to be involved on the drupal end of the theme. I would honestly prefer our current drupal theme be completed before we start doing stuff like this.

You're completely free to make any event you like in the asylum if you have something else in mind.

 

Nah nothing like that, definitely nothing major such as changing the entire theme. Something more like adding small lines of texts to anime pages, it could be with the rest of the text just below the bio, that'd only take some small back end changes and shouldn't screw with drupal. But it was only a very rough idea I had for a possible event for Jan.

Yeah we have the entire site, as long as it could be slightly possible in the future we might as well keep that in mind for other events.


Okay so I found 8 and 9 now, I didn't remember them being Asylum king and I really didn't remember them being a graphic designer for the site. I've only got 1 to go, why can't I think of where it is? I've searched every part I think that could relate to it, hmm....

I'm not much of a gamer, typically if there is a popular franchise on any console I haven't even played it. Hell I haven't even watched anything Persona yet so the hint went way above my head. Well now I've found 1, I feel like I cheated though since Shogun gave it away. Well I was only going to find it by luck anyway, not like much has happened from the first snowman's location in a while.
