Luckily the series is ony 12 eps and the sequel being an ova which is ep 13, well, there's only one of and thus is 13 eps exactly.

Talk about crazy, took the action anime that I had on my list to random.org and there were a lot of long anime (one which is 11 series as of now) that were on top and the only one that was close to first that was not a long series was this one: my nominee will be Blue Exorcist

I nominate Sekai Bokumetsu no Rokunin. (Sands of Destruction in English) I watched it a couple years ago. I seem to remember liking it. And from what I remember it was good, though I also remember there where some parts that where just, meh.

 

Have we watched Samurai Champloo? I've been looking for an excuse to watch it.
