Notice We're now JustDubs Online~

For starters, I'd like to thank everyone for being patient while the site's domain was being change. We did run into a few road bumps, but nothing we couldn't handle.

Work done during the downtime:

• Domain moved to justdubsonline.net Previous domains should redirect members to our new domain.
• Mail server updated.
  • Emails may be delayed for a few hours.
• A beta add-on was added to hopefully email members when @'d.
  • @Mafiacow This should make you happy (hehe), assuming it works.
  • Members who wish not to receive emails when mention can change that option here in their profile settings.
• Site's Chatango updated to reflect the domain change.
• JD Throwback theme is now selectable as an optional theme.
  • Some parts are still being worked on.

Please note: Existing members do NOT have to reset their password to login. Also, some minor work is still being done on the streaming side of the site.

If you do run into any error(s), please don't hesitate to contact myself, Spor, Jay, Sev, or any other staff member.

Hey I was wondering. You know that Online Symbole with the JD logo in it on the banner? Could that be the site Icon that appears in the Tab?

Or if you want to have a little more fun maybe a site wide contest to see who can design the best Logo for the site.

The email has a tiny post link compared to other email alerts, but all I care about is knowing it's there. =^_^=

Edit: Just noticed when clicking the link to Meta posting in Spooktober and New Release General Discussion, that the post links in the email seem to not work. My amateur guess, looking at the addresses, is that the link has "forum." at the start, but the actual address has "/forum" in the middle.

BTW what ever happened to that Classic JD theme for the forums? It would be interesting to use the Classic JD theme now that we are using the JD name again.

I was talking about the throwback. It's done? I didn't know it was done!

 

Does making announcements yourself matter that much to you, Spor? Sure, you might be "Super Admin" but it's just a minor announcement about what members expected, an add-on that was requested, and a change to Chatango. Any staff in the know-how could announce it. The announcement wasn't so unexpected it would cause massive disarray and panic. You want JDO to be about community, it wouldn't hurt to let the other admins make a few announcements if all of you are on the same page. Just saying.

 

Hmm, I just tired going to dubtopia.eu and got redirected our new homepage. And, as I mentioned, the @ email notification add-on is still in beta, expect small errors, like not getting an email or two. I will make sure it's working to the best of my abilities, but there's only so much I can do until the developer released a finalized version. I also checked the mailserver, and emails don't seem to be paused.
