Oh that scene when she collapsed on the beach, of course it was. I think I was more caught up in the moment with the birds surrounding her vision. Although she wasn't looking at glass when that happened so what the hell? Also I believe one of the times Okikura got a vision he wasn't listening to the piano [which I am sure is his medium] so seriously what the hell is up with their 'power'. Same goes for the first ep, I went back to check it out and there was no piano nor any glass when those colourful lines shown up for the first time. I wish these powers were more prominent and consistent.

Got it, David was trippin, good to know. He did say that and know it makes me question this show all the more, neither the glass making nor the powers are too prominent despite being marketed that way upon release.

I like Sachi's wind chime more than her, those things are bloody peaceful and I'd definitely get one if it was really well done. So far this series hasn't offered up too many reasons to like any character. I think my favourite character for now is actually Hiro.

 

Maddy it is Touko in this show, Touka is from Tokyo Ghoul. Anyway Sachi is a disappointing lesbian even by PA's standards on awkward romance themes. They've had characters denying their feelings many times before but I don't know knowing that she is definitely into Touko annoys me slightly. I think it is because how much she has been lying to Hiro, he had no chance to begin with yet she strung him along anyway. This show has really made it hard for me to have a best girl considering I like none of them.

Well heres to hoping that the next 5 eps will be somewhat better than the first 5, I don't want a reason to look at PA with disappointment. This could have been more entertaining if they had a better writer for this series, after Nagi no Asukara I guess it was just too much pressure on the company.
At least we can all agree that the animation is amazing.

 

Now I'm getting a bit more confused with this show, this newest ep had a better pacing but so much randomness. So Sachi isn't a lesbian but bi and confessed to both Hiro and Touko. I still feel bad for Hiro considering how he was being used but now he forgives her, screw that, it sounds like she is settling for him because she can't have her first choice.
Yana running Yuki's course is important because? Although that tension, it would seem that they aren't writing out step sibling love after all, not yet at least. We also had an easter egg for Nagi no Asukara @BK-201 with Miuna and Sayu lookalikes.
Being invited in for tea in the tent............really, the damn tent? These bastards are hopeless.
Okikura is seeing his other selves again, is it wrong that I prefer them over the guy we have been following? Actually the whole dialogue about the fragments made me lost this episode.
And then that kiss at the end, I did not expect that.

I'm still not sure what to think of this show, it isn't good but I haven't hated it either. Definitely disappointed in it though.

 

I missed those lookalikes! Yeah, it doesn't have the same flow as PA's other originals.

 

@BK-201 you missed seeing Miuna and Sayu? They were pretty obvious, in fact the fact the 6th post in the MAL discussion thread has the image, here see for yourself


And because it doesn't have the same flow the series is lacking in many areas compared to the companies others. I am pretty sure this will be my lowest scored PA Works show yet, so much disappointment. Although I will probably keep watching what they release regardless, that animation.

 

@Metazoxan well there is a point in starting it for a few reason but none that I know apply to you. For me I'd still watch this after hearing bad reviews for 2 reasons, I'm a PA Works fanboy and that animation. Apart from that it is pretty disappointing all-round.
The pacing has been horrible, the characters are dislikable, and honestly some of these 'developments' aren't making much sense at all. It has even made the whole glass making premise into a side story instead of the main focus because.......
I really have no idea what the hell they are focussing on. Not even a romance aspect seems too well developed yet and we only have 2 eps to go.

All I can say is that out of 11 eps I may have like 2 of them fully and apart from that I only like 1 of the main characters. I think episode 11 was the best one yet but yeah pretty disappointing. I am probably rating this a 6 at the highest.

 

@Sir-Maddy hmm I'm not sure, I wonder if reading my other comments would help? Yeah I am greatly disappointed by this show, the trailers lied to me...

 

@Sir-Maddy keep watching it and you'll see what happened there, I'm sorry but you'll be even more disappointed by it because nothing still is really happening.
At least the artwork is still great, I can enjoy that at least.

It seems that Sachi confessed, not just to Touko but to Hiro as well. What I think happened is that she knows that her feelings will never be returned so she felt that telling her is enough. After revealing her feelings she then chose to stay with Hiro and it appears that they are still 'dating'. I say 'appears' and 'think' because to me some of the dialogue in these last few episodes seem to be terribly written and somewhat confusing and this scene was one of maybe 3 instances in particular. Whether Sachi is actually gay and would have seriously pursued Touko I'm not even sure, so yeah that is pretty much as good as I can say what happened there. Hiro and Sachi are back on speaking terms and planning on climbing a mountain together for their next date.

Asking someone that hates the romance genre about what happened with the yuri development, not sure if that is the best choice there.

We've also got some weird Nagi no Asukara easter eggs for some reason.

 

@Sir-Maddy that isn't a reason to cray about this show, you should be crying about this show wasting the potential that everyone believed it had beforehand. how is this for the most recent episode? With 1 ep left now episode 12 was spent in an alternate reality which made no sense at all and seemingly wasted the entire episode. Basically this episode felt very Key like because of this alternate world bullshit stunt they pulled.
Would be funny if one of the people from Key was involved in this, basically after this newest episode it is the only thing that I can see as making sense for why this is a bad show.

Well I've basically had it with this show, PA don't screw up your next one [which is coming next season]
