    That cart scene was amazing though, poor Kashima man, she was being used.


    But Chiyo is a cutie, her VA is doing an excellent job considering this is her first role.
    I love her reactions, especially during the first and second episodes.

    The side cast is pretty amazing.
    I mean, getting Wakamoto to voice just a few lines, damn son.

    From today's ep of Glasslip, I'm starting to think that I can only really enjoy a Slice of Life anime when it's a comedy... Eg, I didn't enjoy Clannad, or that Barakamon.

    My mind wasn't ready when I watched the latest Akame ga Kill, but it keeps getting more awesome and more bloody on every episode

    Also Nozaki-kun, really funny this episode, how does anyone draw manga with the eyes closed

    Okay, that... was quite unbelievable. I... don't want to say too much, 'cause spoilers... But I'll just say, SK, was this not the EXACT sort of anime I was asking for a while ago in our conversations?... I am just stunned.

    I added a spoiler tag for your post Maddy, it was too spoiler-ish for general chat.

    That Akame ga Kill though, holly crap. That episode, this series was already impressing me a lot but that was ridiculously good. It has far surpassed my expectations already. Thank you Meta for trying to talk everyone out of it while having the reverse effect on me.
    I really didn't expect that to happen, this is definitely a seinen series wrapped neatly up in the animation of a shounen. It is an odd combination but considering the results I highly approve.
    I swear I didn't blink the entire second half of episode 6.

    Oh and a bit of trivia, the broadcast of Akame ga Kill on Japanese TVs was censored, I don't know where the uncensored version was acquired from but thank god because seriously seeing this would have ruined it.

    It wasn't exactly so much me trying to talk everyone out of it. I was more just giving people a very stern warning about what they were in for if they watched it. Because like you said at first you just suspect a mildly dark and violent shonen at best.....and then you finish the first chapter/episode.

    Dat feel when your favorite assassin dies....

    The last ep of Zankyou [Ep 5 for me] confused me.
    They planted a bomb but then when they lost communication, they hurt themselves to get people off the train before it exploded. I dont get it. Why plant real bombs if youre that worried that someone is going to die???

    They want to take down the government but they don't want to hurt innocent people. These bombs are to scare them, they are playing games too see how competent they [cops] are while trying to show how serious they [Nine and Twelve] can be. Five knew that they didn't want to kill people, as seen with evacuating the building from ep 1, the empty police station and the abandoned building near the shrine. She was forcing them into doing something they didn't want to do, kill.
    To change the world is their goal, unlike Death Note's Light killing innocent people isn't part of it.

    Doesn't matter Maddy, watch the ones you want and catch up later. I guess that means Nozaki jun is the only series you'll really be commenting about now.
    And since Maddy has been busier I'll leave a bit of news. TRIGGER has another anime announced using characters from an app called Hakka Doll."featuring characters from the information application Hakka Doll has been announced. Hakka Doll gives users access to information about anime, game, manga, seiyuu, light novels, tokusatsu (live action dramas/movies), and more."


    I'm not really sure what to think with the character designs and what limitations it could have, but I'll give it a shot regardless because it is TRIGGER. I'm hoping it is another bloody weird show like Inferno Cop, but I doubt it.

    Im really bad a this, happens to me every season. Im behind on the ones im supposed to be discussing but im at least up on Zankyou, Nozaki, Barakamon.
    Im even two weeks behind now on my shorts.
