well ep 3 ironed the wrinkles that i saw in ep 2. the mc dealt with the confession thing. the future thing at the end made me want to watch the next ep. im having this guess that sachi will fall into great depression once she knows that touko will not accept her feelings.

I'm bored again I think. This show lacks any good comedy, and the psychic thingy isn't being done very well IMO.

 

i dont know what to say about this show except it reminds me of tari tari right down to the characters

 

what i mean is that some of the things they do remind me of the charcters from tari tari im not saying that it is better because i did enjoy tari tari more

 

yeah the reason I haven't been all that active here is because I keep putting off watching the next episode. I'm trying to participate but I just keep wanting to "watch it some other time". It's not that it's super bad but just nothing really grabs me.

 

Yeah the pacing is pretty bad at times. Plus mr future guy's introduction was just so awkward. He apparently sees her staring at glass with an odd expression on her face or something and SOMEHOW he figured out that she could see the future and started following her. It's like "Hey guys I'm just going to start hanging out with you now... BTW my name is []". It's really not a good way to introduce a character especially if he's supposed to be joining into a close group of friends.

She's really quite annoying me...
All this talk of tea and coffee, actually making me feel like making myself some tea... What is wrong with me?...

With everything being so boring, uneventful, and forced, I can't help but feel it's becoming akin to effing Clannad...

 

In retrospect voting to discuss this was probably a bad idea because even if the show wasn't a disappointment it probably wouldn't have been much of a discussion starter.

 

Psshhh.

Both have shite attempts at comedy, the slightest supernatural aspect, annoying romance, and main girl being worst girl. You're right on the music though; I like Glasslip's OP and ED, where as Clannad's were complete shite, and even able to f*** up one of the main things I'm usually a sucker for in songs.

Aych damnit. I voted strategically to make sure Akame ga Kill didn't beat Tokyo Ghoul, 'cause I thought Akame ga Kill was gonna be a shit shounen, but now it's turning out to be the best anime of this season...

 

See Shonen really can be pretty good so you should learn to not write off a show automatically because it's shonen.

AShonen magazine where these series are first published is very competitive and those that can't keep up the rating are axed. While this somtimes results in some nice series ending early it means that the ones that survive have to work hard to stay popular enough to last. But while a lot of shonen follow the same formula there are normally at least a couple that try something different and while most of these different guys end up failing in the ratings a few manage to actually last.

 

Oh no, this is a (what did SK call it?...) "seinen masquerading as a shounen(?)". It's just that I'm quite sick of "shit tons of attacks not causing any real damage or gore" and "the power of friendship conquers all!~", they're so unrealistic. Akame ga Kill, however, (in fantasy terms) is just so deliciously realistic~ Purrrrrr~ :3
That being said, I do still intend to get around to getting back into Fairy Tail. Naruto will take a while 'cause of filler putting me off. SK has convinced me to watch ~100 more eps of One Piece 'cause Robin backstory. And I need to watch those last two Bleach movies.
