What Games Are You Currently Playing?

Ah I see. I like open world games to a degree. I didn't like GTA 4 that much since there wasn't a lot to do and Skyrim had waaaaaay too much to do. I mostly like time killers, hence why I mostly play short to mid length games and a crap ton of Hack N' Slash games xD

 

GTA 4 was one of my favorite games ever :/ I loved just going around that city. I also loved the missions and story and characters. Niko remains my favorite GTA main character. GTA 5 was also good fun, but it wasn't as good as GTA 4 imo.

Currently i'm not playing much, i'm not much of a gamer. Playing Football Superstars the most. It's an online soccer game on the PC. I play a couple of matches almost every day and still enjoying it alot after a couple of years of playing it.

I've been planning to start playing NBA2k14 again one of these days and continuing GTA Vice City Stories on ps3.

 

I never said I hated GTA 4
I really liked Niko and the gameplay but I just didn't like how empty the world felt IMO and that, for the most part, there was no checkpoint system. I'm not the best gamer (only game I'm really good at is Ocarina of Time) so it was really annoying to be playing one of the really long missions and then die and have to do the whole thing over again.

 

I think there were checkpoints during missions after a while though. But yeah that did suck. I remember driving Playboy X all over Liberty City for that mission in that damn construction site over and over and listening to his bullshit every time lol.

 

Yeah that was a pain in the ass. Another one that I remember hating was the one where you and... this guy who's name I forget and his family rob a bank. It took forever to get there, they wouldn't shut the fuck up and I would always die at the bank. Then when I did survive I died trying to get rid of the 3 star wanted level. When I died? Back to the beginning!

 

Hahaha i think his name was Patrick. Not sure though. The Irish guys. I have played the beginning of The Ballad of Gay Tony way too many times and that starts with the scene of that robbery because Luis Lopez(TBoGT main char) was at that bank during the heist. I can remember alot of what was said there.
The Irish guys arguing about saying they are brothers, saying ''ireland isn't the only thing that's green, dollars are too!'' ''now you said bloody Ireland, that's gonna narrow the search aint it?'' So hilarious

I had the complete edition which came with The Ballad of Gay Tony and... that other one which name I can't remember. I remember seeing the guy at the bank when you got there. And yeah I laughed a bit the first time, but when you have to hear it 8+ times.... it get's a bit old.

 

It does, but it's funny how i've seen it so many times i can nearly remember the whole robbery including what was said. It's been a while since i seen it now though because my laptop can't handle the game.

The other one was called ''The Lost and Damned''. Another awesome main character. Johnny.

 

Ah yeah that's what it was called. I knew it had Damned in the title. I was planing on playing the other ones but I wanted to finish the main game first which never happened. It was too annoying to me, since I wasn't very good at the game, and a bit too long IMO. I liked it and really liked Niko's character (which shocked me TBH) but I gave up on it after a few weeks.

 

Shocked you? Why?

I think 4 wasn't too long, more like perfect for me. You pay lots of money for it after all. I think GTA 5's main story was too short.

 

I've never played GTA before and from what I've seen my friends play I thought you would play as either a psychopath or some kind of criminal. I was shocked when I found out that he kind of wasn't at first. And yeah I keep hearing that GTA 5's story is too short.

Actually i was also suprised how he was a pretty good guy who kinda enrolled into this life. If anyone would be descibed as an asshole, it would be Roman imo for promising Niko so much and giving him a shitty criminal life instead.

You have 3 characters to play for in GTA 5, yet the story is disappointingly short. It was a good story and was fun to play, but it was over way too fast. Waiting for downloadable content now, which has been announced but not any specific details yet. The side missions keep going for a long ass time, but those are nowhere near as good as the main story. For 6 i am hoping for 1 main character again.

GTA4 and it's ridiculous driving physics had me rolling on the floor whenever ramming stuff was involved. Oh man the good times I had just going on police chases was a blast. Then I learned that hitting a pole at top speed causes Niko in the driver seat to catapult across the map into the ocean. Some of the funniest stuff ever man.

I like my old San Andreas game better though. At least that one you could go on a turf war (reminds me of the Godfather games). Needless to say I'm not a first day buyer for the series in any stretch of the imagination. I just play it to blow stuff up so the older games still keep me occupied.

 

Iv been trying to get 100% achievements in some of my steam games, i had 6, but Goat Simulator updated today and brought out a whole bunch of new ones

 

I've been playing Game Dev Tycoon religiously for the past few days. I finally got one of the game reviewers to give me an 11/10, which is what I was aspiring for. Also still playing FlatOut and Midnight Club 2 from time to time 'cause racing.

 

I beat Metroid Prime 2 today for the first time. So happy to finally pull out a win for this game since the first attempt ended in utter failure at the last boss.

That was kind of tough but very enjoyable in a slightly sadistic way.

Picked up an older PSP rpg title, Hexyz Force. Played it a little and I'm getting those familiar classic rpg vibes. Well that's a good sign.

 

I Love Ni no Kuni! Its like a Ghibli/Pokemon crossover. Got to catch them all.

GTAO: since a budyy of mine got it back we go on rampages and race mostly
Borderlands 2: again buddy got it also managed to get free dlc since he has the game of the year edition and you can just download it from the second disc
Minecraft: as always still have my suriveal series but started a new one and also waiting for 1.8 update

Skyrim: the game you never stop playing
And i restarted Black Flag as i love sailing the high seas

 

Somehow I got an XBOX 360 on work through a lottery back on December and also bought Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and it's the only game I have for now, need to get another game soon
